    Chain saw advice

I've really enjoyed my Husqvarna 455 Rancher. Today I'd go for the Echo 310 you posted. Between Echo leaf blower, hedge trimmers and chainsaws plus Mantis (Echo, Shindiawa) garden tillers I know I can trust their products as long as I take good care of them and size the tool for the job.

    Weed Abatement on Steep Hills?

I'm a big fan of creeping Lily turf. Just keep surrounding ground clear and it will take over. Just don't be in a hurry.

    Rakes

My 5ft CountyLine (Tarter) has pulled tons of chopped underbrush to the burn pile, baseball to football size rocks after my rototiller (same mfg) has kicked them up, and now serves as my back blade when I maintain my driveway. (millings). My most useful/versatile implement.

    L2050DT Re-powering

I have the same tractor but a 1989 model. It had been neglected by the guy I bought it from so I went thru it, changed all fluid and filters, and glow plugs. Most electrical works but no lights to speak of, Replaced belt, hoses, seat, and bucket and its been great ever since.

    I'm in trouble!!!

Darren, hope yall can make a deal. Its a good looking rig for sure. My wife bought a new 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2013 and still loves it. I had a 1996 Jeep Cherokee for 6 years and had good service from it. Bet you will too.

    3 point kit

I had a similar time finding parts for and old Yanmar that came along before everyone had stand 3-pts. Hoye Tractor parts in Texas had a kit for mine already configured and the parts available separately as well. Don't know what other manufacturers they support but they may can direct you to...

    Husky

Personally I like Echo, Husky, and Stihl in that order. All three are great depending upon the model, how its cared for, and used.

Worn bucket and loader arm pins

I'd go to some Kubota dealers and ask if they have any old pin-on buckets lying around you might be able to fit to your tractor. Go armed with measurements and be prepared to stroll around in the weeds but I did this and was able to find one. Had to shim the arms into the brackets and then...

    Help choose the right mower

I mow our 6 acres with a SCAG TigerCat. My neighbor saw it and went to the dealer I'd used and came bach with a Cheeta. Sold his finish mower and maintains about 30 acres with it.

    L3300 oil change

Run it a bit to help burp the system and then shut it down and let it cool awhile. Check dip stick again.
