This Atlas brass plaque I salvaged from a sunken boat off the Government wharf in Bella Bella BC.
The other plaque from the Ocean Falls paper mill site View attachment 70238 View attachment 70239 View attachment 70240 View attachment 70241 .
Very cool tags!! Quite the history behind the Atlas Imperial Engine Co. And the 2nd tag off of that paper mill motor......725 HP at only 720 RPMs!! That was a massive piece of spinning steel at that slow a rpm!

We use to take care of the protection relays for some old standby generation. The power plants were the engines from WW2 LSTs. Fairbanks Morse and Cooper Engines. Another plant had some older Nordberg engines. Nothing tiny or lightweight on those old engines or the generators coupled to them.

Great pics!! Thanks, DaTow'd

Amen brother!
Choose your pilot carefully, Michelle is the only Barbie I trust, most of them are pretty dumb.
I have crashed a time or two, as well as landed wrong. View attachment 69076 View attachment 69077

For the knife collectors and history buffs, here's my WWII AAF, USN/USMC survival knife issued to their aircrew. This one is made by Colonial Pocket Knife, R.I. The little knife pictured with it is a normal sized older pocket knife.

The second blade is a hardened steel saw blade that supposedly would allow a trapped aircrew to be able to cut their way out of any damaged airframe. Weighing about 13oz. it's one big chunk of steel. This knife is most likely USAAF issue since the outer ring has been removed from the bolster pin. The USN/USMC issued ones apparently kept the ring clip on one end. Here's some pics:

It's fun when you're out camping or in the woods and someone asks, "Has anyone got a pocket knife on them?" Their eyes get pretty big when this one is pulled out!
(Rumor has it that Crocodile Dundee carried one of these.............. "You call that a pocket knife?) :ROFLMAO:

Between the barn and the ford truck i dont Know what one i love More
Wish the barn was mine, its a couple miles down the road from my place. There was once a very old house in front of it but a tornado in 2011 took out the house. Crazy how it spared the barn. Land just sits vacant now, was told the heir lives up north but cares nothing for the place but will not sale.
