    BX2680 hydrostatic pedal adjustment

I've had my BX2680 for about a year now, I have been very satisfied with it. I wanted to ask the forum members if there is some adjustment I could make to reduce stopping distance once you release the hydro pedal in forward or reverse. I'm used to my JD GT where the reduction is more aggressive...

BX2680 mower deck vs. rear finish mower

Thanks for the perspective Missouri, I almost bought a B2320 instead of my BX - just couldn't come to agreement on a price. I think the B2320 had the same 1L engine that my BX2680 has.

BX2680 mower deck vs. rear finish mower

Thanks, good point on the MMM and resale, I hadn't thought much of about that. I know from experience with my Deere GTs that finding good condition used equipment/attachments is tough, especially mower decks. Having a MMM for the BX probably would help quite a bit on resale and open it up to...

BX2680 mower deck vs. rear finish mower

Thanks for the comments, MMM is probably my better choice to keep. Now, let's see what I can get for the Del Morino rear finish mower.

BX2680 mower deck vs. rear finish mower

I picked up a used BX2680 last year. 2019 model and was used by an older couple for their small property with some horses. It came with both a 60" mower deck and a Del Morino 60"/5' rear finish mower. I didn't get a chance to ask when they used each mower. At this point, I don't need either...

    Flail recommendations for BX2680

Thanks for all of the feedback, very helpful. I was able to get out this week to my closest Ironcraft dealer. I looked at the FL-135 for my BX2680. The units are actually Titan Implements branded. Sales rep stated they picked them up on a good deal when Ironcraft was trying to sell Titan...

    Flail recommendations for BX2680

I'm looking to purchase a flail mower for my new to me BX2680. Looked at rotary cutters, but the length, for both my trailer (14') and maneuverability, made me look hard at flail mowers. I like the more compact size of the flails and from what I read and from YT videos, are quieter. I'm mowing...

    Box blade recommendation for BX

Jeremy - thanks for the info and photos, do you run any rear spacers? Rear tires look to be sticking more than standard beyond the fenders, but it might be the photos. Your tire set up looks like where I'm heading - I have all turfs, the previous owner mostly used my BX for mowing. I'm going to...

    Box blade recommendation for BX

Thanks for the replies. I have seen some you-tube videos with BXs pulling 60" BBs, seems to do ok on flat ground in the videos. I'll probably stick with a 54" since I'll leave the BB on for ballast when doing FEL work and that will help getting into tight spots over a 60".

    Box blade recommendation for BX

Good evening - topic has probably been covered before, but a search didn't turn up that much. I'm looking for a BB for my BX2680 I picked up last fall. A 4 ft BB seems to be norm for the BX and there are many options out there in that size. My question is with regard to adding wheel spacers. The...

    BX replacement tires for turfs

Thanks for the replies. I initially was just going to run the turfs for a while. The tractor is a 2019 with about 200 hrs so the tires are in good shape. The rears aren't filled which I was kind of surprised by. My local dealer includes filled rear tires at no additional charge with any BX that...

    BX replacement tires for turfs

I picked up a used BX2680 a few months ago. It has turf tires and was used primarily for finish mowing. My planned use is more all around without much finish mowing, at least for now (loader & box blade work, tiller, flail or rotary mower). I've been searching the internet including this forum...

    BX2680 Oil Change

I'm ready to start the fluid changes on my new to me BX2680. Anyone have the torque values for the engine oil and hydro drain plugs? I don't have a service manual yet and I'm having trouble finding anything specific on the web. Torque specs on my cars/trucks are in the 18 to 30 ftlb range on the...

    BX2680 unknown electrical connector

My new to me BX2680 was used mostly for mowing, so I've been cleaning up some grass clippings, etc. up under the bottom of the tractor. I pulled the right rear wheel to clean out that area and I found an electrical connector under the fender below the FEL control valve. Anyone know what this is...

Correct Air Filter Part # for BX2680?

Thanks 85 - where were those air filter listings pulled from?

Correct Air Filter Part # for BX2680?

I've been working on pulling my maintenance parts and fluids for my new to me BX2680. I'm finding the right parts and fluids and everything makes sense other than the air filter. Using the Kubota.com parts site, if I use the Quick Ref Guide for the BX2680, it lists a K1211-82320 air filter...

BX2680 - replacement for turf tires

I just picked up a used BX2680. It was used by an older couple with a small amount of acreage and horses. It has turf tires and was primary used for mowing. FEL bucket shows very little use, I was told just for mowing manure which seems accurate. My use will be FEL work, finish mower and either...

    BX2680 maintenance questions

Thanks for all of the info - appreciate it. I think I'm going to use 15W-40 rather than the 10W-30. I will be keeping the tractor in the garage that I maintain typically no less than about 40F in the winter and at least right now, I don't plan on any cold winter operation. Most demanding use...

    BX2680 maintenance questions

I just picked up a new to me BX2680. It has just over 200 hours, was owned by an older couple with small acreage and horses. Primarily was used to mow, both belly mower and they used a rear mount finish mower for the pastures. Looking to see if I can get any maintenance records from the selling...

BX loader capability vs. 1series JD

I was reading another post about analysis paralysis - I think I'm there. Starting looking for a CUT in late spring, based on specs and just looking at various tractors on the dealers lots, I thought the B01 series would be about right for me. Problem was I found the operator station somewhat...
