Thanks Henro

No wiper yet. I’m worried that a wiper will just end up scratching the acrylic windshield. I’m going to try using the Rain-X made for plastic.

I used that on my side x side in the rain, it works pretty good. I was able to splash water on the windshield when it got mud water on it and help wash it away. It's worth a shot!

Got the door glass installed with some silicone and screwed on strips of PVC molding to retain the windows.

Looks good. I'll bet that you can't wait to try it out to see how well it works, and then you will hope to not need it again for a while. I remember when I got a cab on my tractor, how pleased I was to be in the warm surroundings. Now I dread winter since it still takes a lot of time and effort to clean up the snow to bare pavement.

Got the weatherstripping on the back and attached the back panel. The small lower window is in and the window gasket is in for the upper window. Today, I wired the front work lights and wired a couple of LED dome lights inside.

Installed the rear window today. All that’s left is to seal along the bottom of the doors and plumb the heater. I drove it a little yesterday with the doors and back panel on without the back window and it’s definitely louder inside the cab than as an open station. Time to invest in some Bluetooth hearing protection. Cheaper then sound deadening the cab and installing a radio.

All you need now is a TV, stereo, hot plate and compostable loo and your wife may never see you again ;-)

(seriously, great job !)_

What?!?!?!?! No adult beverage cooler?
Otherwise, looking good. You should be ready before the nasty white stuff starts falling.
Regards,

No cooler. Just the factory cup holder. Thanks Ping. I’ll actually be ready for the snow this year.

Finished sealing the doors with some simple stick-on door sweeps that I added screws to.

I made some rain gutters to keep water from running off of the top and onto the windows. I used 1/16”x1-1/2”x1-1/2” aluminum angle that I formed over a 1” diameter bar with a soft dead blow hammer.

Plumbed the heater today. The 3-way valve lets me select sending coolant to the heater or bypassing it back to the engine. A simple bracket and a hose clamp holds the valve. I reused the factory bypass hose to connect the valve to the water pump. All that’s left is to refill and bleed the system.

Found them at Menards. One probably would have been enough light.

Same lights I use in my home made cab. These lights are great!!

Now that's a neat installation of your 3-way valve!!

Thanks OrangeKrush. Hopefully, I get to use it some this winter but not a lot. It will definitely be nice to be out of the wind when I’m clearing the driveway at 5:00 AM.

It was 32* F this morning when I pulled the tractor outside to test the heater. After running for about 30min, the temp in the cab was 62* F measured with a thermometer laying on the steering wheel.
