They sure look like Hodge's product. I hope he's the one they partnered with, he did a lot of development work on those and should get his due.wonder if ol brother Mark went BIG time?
My 19 year old B2910 also came from the factory with them. So they have been around a long time, as D2Cat said...My L is 13 years old and came from the factory with that "improvement". They have been around a long time, but apparently only offered on other machines as owners saw how much easier they are to use.
Manufactures have to keep prices competitive with competition, so things move slow when spending money not needed. They are nice!
Can you post a link? Maybe that person actually improved on an existing design himself. I would really enjoy a look at what is offered, as my BX could use an improvement.The idea has been around for a while, and IIRC, he was inspired by earlier designs when he built his first set for his own B7100. But development is more than just having the idea. Mark spent some time and effort working out details like the correct angles and dimensions. I would hope that someone did not just copy his work. That is not to say that someone didn't work those things out for themselves, of course. But they look very, very similar.
