What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Today I removed 7 rather large spirea from a flower bed, each with a substantial root cluster. Took me less than half and hour. I'm really loving my backhoe and grapple on my BX23. Doing this with a spade would have taken me over 3 hours and a lot of sweat and a sore back.

I did a little woods/cross country and a little motocross but never tried trials. Amazed at some of the things the top level riders can do!!
That wouldn't be me! I also do mostly woods/singletrack on a Husky FE501 and Adventure riding on a Yamaha Super Tenere.

The tractor is also helping me lay out a 2 mile single track loop on my property.

After blocking up the front tires (dead level side to side, checked) and shimming the forks with some pallets, I had just barely enough reach to set my shop's new swamp cooler. After I took this pic I unstrapped it from the pallets, c limbed up and simply slid it into place, only 250 lbs. Looks goofy I know, but it went as planned, and was in no hurry. Sure, I could have used my 30 ton boom truck with 110' of main boom, but this task was hardly worth driving that pig up the mountain where I live from town, if it would have been much higher or heavier, that was my backup plan.

Finally added a Quick Hitch on my BX2660!

It fit's my Carry All - but not my stock Kubota ballast box due to clearance for the upper link hook...

We are adding a refrigerator in the garage (More beer storage!), so to make room, I had to move the smaller tool chest out to the shop:

Completed my 200 hour service. It was about 20 months ago I was wondering what I would use a tractor for - seems like I found 200 hours of things!

A while back on this thread, some one posted about WAXING their tractor, (not that their is anything wrong with that.....) I'm assuming it wasn't you?! Tractors are meant to get dirty, it's what they are for, looks good!

No, he has the wire on his side of the fence, so he's got the pressure of whatever is trying to get out pushing on the post!!

Goats...in... wandering recreationists out...

As someone once told me...if your fence can't hold water, then it can't hold goats...

Wow Maclean, I think you get more outta that BX than most guys get outta an L!!
Took care of a few milk goats for neighbors as a youngster. They’re great animals, but can test your nerves and your fence!!
Looks great!

Did some mowing & driveway maintenance at the camp yesterday.

Moved about 10T of 411 to smooth up the drive & one parking spot, then mowed a couple acres worth of grass lanes, and finished up pulling some old downed pine trees (logs) out of the woods to use as barriers.

About 6 hrs worth, and half tank of fuel! Love this little tractor!:)
(sorry, don't know why 2 pix are sideways....were correct on my computer)

I put the bush hog on my L3710, and headed out to the back woods to build some hiking trails. The FEL worked well as a dozer blade to push fallen trees out of the way, and the bush hog did the rest of the work. 800 feet of trail didn't take long.

Another good thing about using a bush hog to build trails is that subsequent maintenance is merely a matter of going out for another drive.

Nothing major, just went and loaded 3 loads of hay and hauled them to a customers house. Won't quit raining long enough to do much else.
