Last week I installed a flagstone patio, my grandson was in charge of bringing the sand to the site and my buddy and I would rake and spread it out.

Loaded the LX2610 onto the trailer for the first time (smooth operation there!), drove to a friends house and met with a 2nd friend that had bought 10 bales of hay for the horses of friend 1 (suspected of having Covid). Unloaded their trailer and took the hay into the barn (inaccessible by trailer). Horses were apprehensive during the first load, interested on the second load, and excited (FOOD!) during the 3rd and final load.

This was yesterday’s view. I went to the house to dig a trench and till a small garden, after seeing the job on the garden they asked about tilling their entire front yard so they could smooth it out and start over with the grass seed. It was my first “job” I got paid for. im Going to have to get better at before and after pictures. Did 2 passes across the entire yard. Took an hour.

I have tilled hundreds of lawns over the years. 2 passes will break it up just fine, but 4 passes will actually give you no lumps or thatch; and what there was of green, mulches and turns into good nitrogen fast.

i usually do 3-4 passes for a new garden. This was as far as they wanted the yard done. I offered to go over it again but they were happy with it.

I do a lot of "free" work for people being retired. I know what it was like not having a tractor when I left the farm in the 70's. So I have been backhoe(ing) ditches and leveling lots for some young people. Also, a fun job, I was working in the Gila Wilderness area on private ranch backhoe(ing) some ditches for a water system.

A new tradition. The graduating class parade. The only tractor in the parade. This is my youngest and he has done an outstanding job in these hard times. 4 times Auto Mechanics Student of the Year, FFA Student of the Year, Summa cum laude, and a 2 sport letterman for 4 years in a row.

Yesterday Tractor educated me that after mowing for a hr. front end loader connections have to much pressure to connect. Today after cooling overnight 4 connectors snapped together easily :)

Play with the controls after shutdown and the pressure should go away.

Drove at least half of the T posts with some delicate FEL down pressure, used it to hold some gates while I drilled & screwed in the fittings, then finally retrieved one of the big friggin’ rocks I’ve been trying to grab for a “retaining wall” over where I’m expanding the driveway.

He has gotten offers from a GMC dealer, a diesel repair shop, a high end RV builder and a second interview with RingPower Cat Dealer on Monday. He has been a ranch hand on the weekends for over 2 years. He has also made a couple thousand dollars doing tractor work with the Kubota. The kid doesn't quit.

Moved my trailer 6 inches. Backed it up a little too close to the pad to erect the east (LH) wall with the diagonal attached. Me and the missus did this in about three and a half days.

The mods I made to the cheap HF(Haul Master) Quick Hitch are the bees knees. Can drop that box blae on pretty much any terrain now. If it tilts forward too much, just pull forward a little, and bingo, it let's go and drops. If I can get the top hook under the QH pin on the blade, it's as good as hooked up without climbing off the tractor. Now, if I could just do that for the trailer .....

It's just a little humbling standing in the middle of a shop this size, btw. Baby's gonna have a BIG bedroom.

Outstanding. I've been sorta wondering how it was going and when you would come up for air.

Maybe you said, but what will go on the sides?

Play with the controls after shutdown and the pressure should go away.
Control play won't help relieve pressure built up in loader hydraulics once they've been disconnected, even though the controller was "played with" before disconnection.
The pressure builds in the loader lines and cylinders when the loader has been disconnected and the ambient air temperature rises.
I use a flat face drift, a hammer, and a rag to bump the connector seal ball to release some fluid pressure. The loader lines connect easily then.

Nothing crazy today. Took all our moving boxes that have been taking up room in the shed to the town recycling center. The grapple turned an hour back and fourth by hand into two trips in 10 minutes. Then used the tractor as a anchor point for tightening some fence wire with a come along.
