No experience with tractors, but I personally would not be surprised to see that on a first oil change.
Oh I’m not surprised, just wish it would have been done at the actual 50hrs, or close and not 127, when I did it today. I bought the tractor last Saturday with 125 on it.

People wash their tractors? That's like washing a hammer. I bought it new too, I'll have to try it sometime. Never occurred to me, though I am a stickler for keeping it inside when not in use, and I always flip up the seat if I'm out of it for more than a few minutes.

Got started on cutting and chipping the dead fall from last winter, the Honda Rancher ATV and trailer for the chips will then haul and spread them on my path I have thru the trees on the left that runs along a stream with a 14% grade, so a lot of white water.

It just occurred to me, I have never washed my ATV either, also bought new, but like the tractor it's always under cover and is otherwise very well pampered, I guess i think a little dust and dirt or mud won't hurt anything? View attachment 60353
I have a truck like that. Bought it new. Generally pretty nice to it. My wife washed it once. I don’t know why.

Spread and "float" back dragged 9 yds of 3/4" crushed gravel over the 11 yds of 1 1/2" gravel that I spread on the driveway last week. Long driveway.
The 1st spread was a little rough because I wasn't familiar with the float feature (FEL newb) but got that figured out because I read about it here and wow looking pretty smooth now. Probably been 15 yrs since it had been worked on so needed quite a bit
of building back up to crown it.

Did the 50 hour maintenance items today. Also lubed the FEL points.
Noted that there are no zerk fittings on the rear lift top link, contrary to the owners manual.

This landscaping endeavor is sure racking up some hours on the tractor. I had to grease the FEL again yesterday.
I definitely learned one thing though - my greasing abilities are on par with my sheetrocking expertise.

ie for every gallon of compound I put on a wall, I sand off 1-1/2 gallons worth. For every tube of grease I use on the tractor I'm removing 1-1/2 tubes worth of overflow.

Some of my larger projects are waiting on the tooth bar for the bucket......but until then it is small stuff.

One of the larger projects is reworking the drainage ditch along the 500'+ driveway but today I gathered some small "boulders" of 18=24" diameter and replaced the rotting hay bales and stakes used by the building crew to slow the water down during heavy rains and spring runoff. Heck of a lot easier than without the tractor.

This morning,,,,,,unloaded 6bags of stone for the pad under the new heat pump for the basement finishing.. Yup, worlds most expensive wheelbarrow ......but I know 98% of you would have done the same thing. Why walk 40lb bags of rock around the house and down a hill when you can drive them all at once.......lol

Definitely agree on the wheelbarrow comment. For materials like that I’ve been heading to the store with an empty pallet in the back of my truck. Load it on the pallet at the store and use the tractor to fork it off the truck and then to wherever it’s needed. I’m not moving it by hand any more than I really need to.

I assume your 3-point top link is adjustable. And there's no zerk on its adjusting sleeve? Should be one there, and on the right adjustable lift arm, too.

Installed Rear Remotes and Fit-Rite T-n-T Cylinders. Not a bad job, about a 3 hour installation, no leaks and appears to work flawlessly. Now to get it in the field...

There is one on the RH lift arm, a couple of plugs where the zerks should be on the top link.
Will try to install a couple of zerks on the top link.

So, there's a song by the Sandals called "6-pack" that I have on a USB stick in the stereo on my LX2610. Started the engine this morning, and was letting it warm a little. Suddenly, this song comes on, with "pssst - pssst - pssst - pssst - pssst - pssst". I panicked, thinking Oh Crap - I've got a big hydraulic leak somewhere, and then the rest of the song started. I looked around, just to make sure that no one was watching!

I have shop and cab envy! Very clean installation with good hose routing.

Awesome! I have the RCR1884 which is also a beast and really enjoy cutting the field. Kind of wish I had some tall stuff to cut down like you though. I have a trip coming up but when I get back I'm hoping to help out a friend with a very big field and very tall grass. It'll be fun as long as I don't run over a faun.

I almost got one last year. Really shook me up. He ran over to the edge of the field and layed back down. The grass wasn't very heavy. I think I mistook him for a fireant mound.
