Planted 25 schip laurels, alone :cautious: digging the holes was the quick part.

Replaced the starter on the charity's M7040. She spins over like a top now. Dealer didn't have one. Local electrical shop had a new one in stock at a good price.

Mowed with the 1700 today and took it back in the woods to hit the trails. Couple really wet spots but I was able to maneuver around and not get stuck. Need to do more but I need the 3200 with the brush hog to do that. Long range shows no rain for 2 weeks. If that holds true, I can get back and knock down some brush and pull out a couple windfalls for firewood

Are you collecting the chips for a reason? Are you using them for fuel?
Using them for:
- garden mulch
- chicken winter run bedding (the best! I used to use straw)
- mulching around transplanted trees
- paths
- composting meat chicken slaughtering offal and feathers in
- growing mushrooms
- sending bags to town for my kid's gardens and yards

The bigger logs the chipper can't handle are for fuel.

I buried a 20ft x 20ft garden area with 6" of it this spring and planted 4 squash hills there. They did fantastic, and NO weeds, or watering.

A few more trees to run through the chipper later this week, then the backhoe goes back on to tackle those stumps. I LOVE stump digging with the 'bota. On goes the Worktunes headset and it's like BH77 ballet in the stump field.

Yesterday...used bucket to haul fire wood. Used forks to move welder on pallet, and last but not least used stump bucket to move some rocks and ripped out two stumps. I love the quick attach bucket on my Kubotas!

The other day I turned a 70’x80’ brush choked part of the yard into a dirt patch using the box blade with teeth. Kids pulled a big old hay rake behind the quad to filter out the sod chunks. Amazing how much work these things can do in a short time.

Pulled a very old 7” x 10” x 16’ barn beam (that was almost completely buried) out of the creek bed. Recent flooding changed the creek’s route and exposed a bit of this and I had to rescue it.

Well it was last week but I did the 400 hour service on the L3560. I decided to try the fluid evacuator I had bought the week before, mainly for my smaller engines like the ATV, generator and so on because of the steel drain plugs being screwed into aluminums. Never happened to me, just lucky I guess however I have a friend that had to do a repair because the drain plug had stripped along with a couple others I've heard of. I have to tell you it worked pretty good, didn't get it all but only had less then one drain pan of fluid come out when I pulled the plug. Here's a link just incase anyone else would like to try it.

Gave mine a long over due bath tonight 🤣

And not because I really wanted too. My daughters preschool has farm day on Friday, usually the JD dealer in town would supply a tractor for them but given the times 😕 I got volunteered. Oh well, tractor is clean and I get a day off work 🤣

3.3 hours on the L2501. Just got it delivered 3 days ago and it's temporarily living on some friends' property until we get our metal building finished.

We went out there and greased the zerks just to get familiar with it, and I..... dusted it off. Don't judge me, it's still new! Also covered it with a tarp to protect it from said friends' chickens.
