I hate it for y'all but this thing sweeping North of us is saving our 'Southern butts'. We are forecast to have a relatively dry 30°-60°'s for the next week.

Wasn't as bad as it could of been. Street crews have done a great job and I will have to admit, improvements the power company has been making to the system seems to have been working limiting the outages. Next week they are looking like we will be in the 60s.

My backyard looked like that this morning,4.5 inches, a bit more tonight, 11 deg, but I did see a robin 2 days ago. But you know what they say, “one robin doesn’t make it spring.”
I was walking the dog yesterday wearing shorts. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Got about 4" in the grass. Sidewalks and street are wet but not icy at all.

Supposed to switch to rain tomorrow thru Tuesday.

Looks like we may need to "hunker" down again tomorrow morning. Hopefully we will dodge the "twisting" stuff and only get rain..

Looks like Texas got the twisters/wind last night. We got rain, much rain which will delay my sawmilling for a few hours this morning.

40's during the day 30's at night, and it's been raining for the last 2 days.
Still 2+ foot of snow on the ground, we'll need to get in the 50's to get it to melt off.

We apparently have a bad boy forecast to pass through here mid-day tomorrow. Oklahoma and Texas are feeling it now.

Our schools are closed tomorrow and I canceled my sawmilling. I'll be content to sit tight and hopefully it will pass without any damage. Scary stuff. 😲

Looks like we had better put our windproof drawers on for Tuesday. That thing could be nasty. 😲
Spent a good portion of my walk tonight picking up recycling and dropping it back into the closest container.

Today was recycling day and it looked like a good portion got blown away before making it into the truck.

Wasn't concerned about the occasion plastic bottle or piece of cardboard.

I was more concerned with all the lids for the aluminum cans. Lots of little kids and pets in the neighborhood. Was worried about someone getting cut.
