Well , been all over the wiring and have found nothing….the ram on th right side of the hitch works fine hydraulically with its manual switch , the control valve is under pressure , and I can lift the three point up and down by hand with no resistance!
But no hydraulic operation on the three point itself…

There may be a push rod between the cylinder and the arms to move the arms. It may be missing, bent, broken, out of position?

I don’t even recall how to get to it but it is in line with the piston movement.

Well , I’ve scrapped the monroematic and installed a simple joystick operating the lift solenoid 2 way valves…..
leaving the hydraulic ram on the one arm to give me level control…it works like a charm, very happy!

I just replaced the rear wheel and cover over the filter! I also drained 3 gallons of excess fluid! …. Don’t know what the previous owner was thinking?

Hi,
a question about the light in the back in this picture. How is it wired? And does it have a separate switch?
I own a Sunshine L1-225 and try to figure out how to easily install worklights.

I don’t see the photo with a light…if you mean the back facing single light behind the seat it has a wire run from the ignition switch thru a on/ off toggle mounted to the left of the seat!

I’ve just purchased a sunshine zl1-245 and I’m having trouble with the leveling arm. I don’t seem to have any controls for it at all unless it’s my monroematic switches that don’t work? But I’d have thought I would have a hydraulic lever somewhere? Hopefully you guys can help me out.
cheers mark

I have a small switch behind the seat. This switch was for operating the levelingarm. But this levelingarm was removed before i bought the tractor. Some tractors also have a switch on the dash, on the right side of the steeringwheel. But both are optional switches if i am correct. The only other option to operate the levelingarm is with the monroematic switches.

Can you share you connections to connect the switches for the lift and for the leveling cylinder. I just purchased a similar tractor ( can't find the model so far). I'm not sure which solenoid does what at this point and it would speed things up a lot if you can share. Thanks

Could you help me with manuals also? I have one that looks like this but I think mine is an L1-285, so far I cannot find any numbers on the machine. If you can tell me where to find a model number it would be a great help.
On the tunnel down by your feet either side will be the model and serial number.

The manuals I have will not help you with the Monro Matic Hydraulic control system if that is your issue.

Bearville, can you post some pic of how you plumbed the valve for the lift? I have the same system and all works except the solenoid to lower the 3 pt is bad and I can't find a source anywhere for it. I would be happy doing the same thing. I'm sure with time I can figure out how to do it but it would save lots of time if I could see how you plumbed it in.

As long as the solenoids are still good, you can wire in a toggle switch to the two solenoids on the top electric valve. One solenoid controls up and the other controls down. THe lower two solenoids control the up and down of the 3 pt itself. Nime works the leveling cylinder great with a toggle but my down solenoid is fried so I cant lower it, UGH cant find a replacement anywhere.
