I am looking for a remanufactured engine for a B7100HST kubota. Can anyone direct me to a source.
Does your engine JUST need a rebuild???

You might do better rebuilding your own.

This is not bragging about myself so lets get that straight. I have NEVER yet seen a "BOUGHT" remanufactured or rebuilt engine that didn't have some fault, oil leak, blew up, ect. I worked at UPS for 30 years from 1976 to 2006. We had mostly 292 GM 6 cyl engines and 300CI Ford engines. UPS tried and tried to save a dollar on "Rebuilt engines" Virtually ALL rebuilds would NEVER give the service miles as either the OE engine the Package car came with or when UPS started buying brand NEW replacement engines. Most rebuilds launched RODS through the side of the engine.
I once bought a LONG block, air cooled VW 1600 cc engine from a shop I trusted. I installed it after a few hours of installing all the cooling tins. Started the engine in the car, BAD oil leak like the oil cooler seals were leaking. Pulled the engine back out, changed the cooler seals reinstalled it and it still leaked.
Pulled it for the second time, stripped the sheet metal cooling covers off, bolted a starter to it and started it on the ground. Found the leak...The oil cooler mount on the block/case was CRACKED!
I did a 380 Mercedes engine for a friend of mine. It had slipped a timing chain and bent some valves. I pulled the engine, sent it to the LA area to a RENOWNED Mercedes engine builder. I had them rebuild HIS engine and assemble it as a LONG BLOCK. When the timing chain slipped, it cracked both aluminum valve covers. I talked to the owner of the rebuilder and negotiated to buy two used aluminum valve covers to replace the broken ones. When I got the engine, the valve covers were installed on the engine but painted BLACK. My friend wanted them to look like the OE metal ones so I removed them to strip the paint off. I was appalled when I pulled the valve covers off. They were spotless outside. When I took the breathers out of the black valve covers, they were literally LOADED with GLASS BEAD media! Here was a $9500 complete rebuild and some asshole didn't clean out the valve covers before installing them. This engine would have failed in a few hundred miles. That engine ran a long life for my friend.
I have had machine work done improperly and such.
SO..... TRY to find SOMEONE that is highly skilled in engine overhauls, with diesel experience, that will scrutinize all machine work before installation of the components. I always like to rebuild MY own engine. I have rebuilt diesels, air cooled VW, British Motorcycle engines, American V8's, inline 6 cyls and such. When you do them yourself, you know what you have. Sorry for the long post.

Though I'm not a fan of remans, my experience has been that most are better than most local shop remans.

Bottom line: If you want it done right you MUST do it yourself.

No offense but these guys probably wouldn't even touch a Kubota tractor diesel engine

Anything business listed on the Internet as being in Panama City..... may not exist anymore... Hurricane took out many things there.

as to will they do small engines (if they still exist) maybe not before.... but right now they may take any damn diesel thing that shows up to help pay the bills.

I don't know of any reman engines that are available that are a direct drop in.
This is close, but this engine has the water pump option so some rework on the tractor would be required.

I just got done rebuilding a D850, it's pretty quick if you know how to do it, And it's not very complicated.

You other best option is buy a used running engine, but those are getting very hard to find too.

FYI: A complete rebuild on these runs about $2500 for all Kubota Parts, and yes you can do it cheaper with aftermarket parts and save some money, but you also risk some serious quality deficiencies. ;)

Unless you're willing/capable of doing it yourself... My advice is to solicit the services of your Genuine Kubota Dealer. It will come with a Warranty and that is worth the price. If you have THEM do the install...it's even better because if you DO have a warranty issue... they must do the COMPLETE repair all at their expense.
Don't take your eggs to the restaurant to have them fried. ;)

Kubota does not deal in motors this old! ;)
In their eye's that model is obsolete. :(

I'd find a different dealer.

Harley Davidson has a corporate policy that bikes older than 18 years are not allowed to be worked on in corporate dealerships. My 1934 VLD was turned-away by the HD dealers in the DFW area for a simple wheel-spoke alignment. But the old-line dealers in AUS were quite happy to serve me because they are not corporate-owned.

It's not a dealer issue its a supply chain issue, the D950,D850,D750,D650,D550 have been out of production for too many years.
You can get parts for them, but not complete new engines.
