Having some back work done next week and I am off my Orange till at least March. Gonna have a maintenance session with my son here this weekend to prep him taking over duties. Lucky boy. He gets not only all mowing and trail maintenance but any snow removal if we get a winter.

Good luck with your medical challenges. After 6 months of laying around I imagine you'll be "fit to be tied"!

Thanks. Everyone is saying do exactly what they say and don’t rush it. Lots of restrictions with driving, lifting, sitting, travel you name it. Wife and I had a big trip for the end of Oct we had to cancel. Lucky it was far enough out that we got refunded. Hoping to be able to travel in late November but no bouncy tractors till March. May throw a bunch of stuff on the smoker this weekend and freeze it to help me make it.

John - - best wishes with the procedure and recovery!

Following recovery instructions is wise advice.

Many years ago I hand-raked a little driveway stone day after a vasectomy. Felt pretty decent....why not?!?!?

Trust me, it was an unwise decision........😫

Hope your procedure goes as well as it possibly can. You are fortunate to have a Son willing and able to help out while you recover. Teach him well (and be patient). ;)

We hope to hear more from you here....while you recover. So that would be a good thing. (y)

Hope your surgery goes well and have as good of an outcome as I have had.
Six months post-op and no complaints so far. Just follow the docs orders as to activities and don't fail to do all the therapy exercises prescribed, it's important.

Thanks all. He’s a good kid. Did the oil change/ wheel rotation training last week with him in the vehicles and I make it a point to have both my boys help when I work on their vehicles. They aren’t scared to attempt a repair and they ask for guidance.

All the best, and yeah you need to walk around some ,,, so back and forth to the smoker, check the smoke, sit back with an adult refreshment, smile and enjoy the down time.
