It can indeed be a slippery slope, to some a B Series, any B Series is a "toy", to others, an L isn't a "real tractor" and so it goes.
I totally agree with what your saying! They all have a place and they all job to do!

Yep my B does some jobs 100 times better than my L because of it's smaller size.

Well gang, my local dealer was incredible and allowed me to trade up to a Kubota B2320.
Are you happier now? That is fantastic that your dealer went to bat for you- that is a good indication. The quality of the dealer is more important than the color of the paint, in my opinion.
As far as these friends of yours- what kind of tractor do they have? Most people who make fun don't have one themselves. But, who will be the first to want to borrow it?

how bad a beating did you have to take

No beating at all, they applied what I spent on the BX towards the B2320. I better be happy or my wife is gonna throw me out! I really haven't gotten to use the tractor as of yet but it looks pretty sitting in the garage..

Hodge - you are dead on that statement !! Those that have not, comment, those who need a 18 wheeler to move theirs comment. Those who have a machine that does almost anything.....anytime ......priceless!
