This is how the weather services make us people on
the Gulf Coast feel. Truth of the matter is that it's
getting worse with ever hurricane and with predictions
like this your always going to be right.

My formative years were in Florida and we rode with the flow during hurricane season, even surfed before and after the storms, probably not the smartest choice but back then I was invincible. One thing I remember was when the electricity was on they ran Wagon Train series shows all night. Keep your generator and survival/bug out gear handy and vehicles fueled. Good luck.

Looks like it's gonna get nasty....and it appears we have not learned from the past. Be safe brothers and sisters on the Gulf Coast......

This one will be a little different, most of the forecasts are keeping it basically in the same area for 3-4 days, so a hurricane and then TS hanging around for a week:eek: My little town which is 55 miles from the coast got 27" of rainin 36 hours from a TS back a few years ago and folks who had family living on the same farm for over 100 years flooded up to their rafters. No one had seen anything like it...

You folk out there.... BE SAFE. of course your gone now I hope... Those near the coast.. hope you sprayed your tractors with as much waste oil and diesel as you could to try to spare them from salt water as it comes inland. Sounds like they will be sitting in it for a while.

Seems it might go over my place. I am stuck at work and wife is at home. At least the winds will be down by the time it reaches Houston county

I feel your pain out there in Tx, be safe and evacuate, I'm afraid this will get ugly. My daughter lives in Katey Tx but her work sent her to Dallas to work till this passes.
