Well here you go, ill start 35, I have had a tractor since I was 20 something but it wasn't orange.

Only green in our family until my uncle jumped ship and went orange. I followed a few years later and wish I had done it a lot sooner.

My dad still cant get over it, just the other day he needed some gravel spread. I told him the keys are always in it, he has a key to my garage. He said ill just use the JD, I said go ahead if you have all day to mess with it, 2-3 of working on it before you get started and a its going to take twice as long with out the FEL. I believe he is afraid he will like it if he uses it.

I bought a house that had a water problem in the basement, problem was, after a lot of studying, was water running down the driveway and diverting against the house, seller was allowing be $2000 for a "french ditch" as he had been quoted.....

Bought a slightly used :D 53 ford jubilee with blade and 5 rotary mower, spent right @ $3000, best thing I every owned - put 125 hours on it in 6 years, fixed the driveway in about an hour!...... then the itch had to be be scratched for a better machine! That was about 7 years ago (age 45) and then i bought the BX 25, sold the 53 for $3200 3 days later......

The bx can backdrag, front drag, sideways drag that driveway and anything else..... now I still got payments....but I will take my BX with 50 hours in 8 months any day of the week!!! If the freakin weather would be a little mo' better I might get to 100 before July! :D

I bought my first last year at 46.
I have rented and used them working for years and finally thought it was time I bought one for myself!
Best thing I've ever done, on my second one now and looking at a third!

I was 34 when I got my Kubota. I've had Minneapolis-Molines since I was 16. The tractor bug bit me good! ;) I love my Kubota though. It's done a lot around the house and yard.

Damn! now your going to make me think and do math! I'm putting a rough guesstimate that I bought my B6100 used in 2002 and that would put me at 20 years old at the time. I knew right away the ONLY tractor I was going to purchase was a Kubota.

My inital intent was to buy the B6100 as a starter tractor for my landscaping business. My dad gave me alot of grief about buyin such a small tractor without a loader for landscaping. Pops had bought a L275 with loader new for landscaping. Soo I had told him I have to cawl before I could walk, and reminded him that his first tractor was an L185 with a belly mower.

Things in life happend and plans, direction changed and my first thought didnt pan out. I still have the trusty B6100 but I really need something bigger with a loader. I'll have what I need one day. And it'll be Kubota for sure!

I grew up in the 50's & 60's on JD, Farmal, Case, Minneapolis Moline, Ford & Furguson. In the 80's I got into Wheel Horse garden tractors, but my dad had a Kubota B1750 back on our Missouri farm I really admired. In 2010, when I was 63, I bought my first B7100. I only have 1 acre on a golf course (I don't golf) but I had to have a tractor to play with in retirement!!!

Last September at the age of 61 I bought my first tractor, a B3300su. It has worked great for me, I've put 40 hours on it digging out a silted in pond and 10 hours mowing and moving firewood. Tomorrow I'll be doing the first 50 hour service on it, happy happy
