Our California kids made it in last night after they made a visit with our Philadelphia kids. Tough having them on opposite coasts.

A turkey can run 25 MPH

A turkey can fly 55 MPH

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. The Lord has blessed us with time spent with our children and grandchildren. We had a good time with them, had to work around a short power outage at our daughters. Then came back and fired our generator up to get the heat up from 58. We have been without for 14 hrs and probably won't have it till tomorrow. With wind chill it will be in the teens tonight but we have heat, water and lights and this is rare. So a lot to be thankful for.

Took a day off from hunting to celebrate but I'm back out tomorrow morning at 6AM.

We got a huge snowstorm in Central New Mexico and I spent part of my day using my little BX 1880 to plow snow on my street and neighbours driveways!
Something we in the Desert southwest don't always do very much!
Food was good, snow was fun!
