I always (when younger) figured I would live to be a hundred, and deal with what came afterwards at that time.

Now approaching 75, and in good health, with the only drug I take coming in beer in the afternoon, I am thinking that time frame may be adequate currently.

BUT planning for the future, I am thinking when I hit 90, I may have to reevaluate my position, and maybe move the target date to 110 years old or so...

Guess there is nothing wrong with being an optimist!

How about you guys?

Edit: Yes, by chance it is the afternoon here now...ROFLMAO!

Henro, do you stay up nights thinking what will be the next question that you can post to evoke, both negative, positive, and neutral responses. Your posts are starting to remind me of some old internet terms, such as troll, or a hit-and-run poster.

You could be right, but I fail to see any negative in this thread...but I keep learning day by day, even though they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks...especially a junk yard dog maybe...LOL

Keep dreaming like that, and you might get your wish to die at 107, but I can only guess if there will be a long-legged redhead in bed with you.

Well, at 74 all I can say is I am still waiting for that red head regardless of leg length...and hoping for the best as well.

But prefer not dealing with a husband...let's make her a single woman...

I suspect the only woman near you will be a nurse from the assisted living facility.

I don’t expect or care to live that long to be honest.

Watching my grandparents get old in a nursing home made me realize I don’t want that for myself or my kids.

Due to life choices, I don’t expect I’ll make it that far to worry about it anyways lol.

Based on my need to go fast, and marrying a redhead, I always figured it would be violent and painful before 25. So these have all been bonus years, I'm good with what ever day he has picked out for me.

I hope to live to 120 regardless if I can walk or not just so I can have Uncle Sam pay me back all those years I put into SS. That and torment the crap out of my kids for as long as possible. 😆

If I could have one question answered from above it would be "Where am I going to die?" . If I knew this I would never go there.

I’m a youngster at 62 but the wife asked how long I think we have left together? I told her long enough to go through 2 Kubota tractors! I’m on #1 which I bought in 2020 😎
