@TheOldHokie may not be able to make these for a while. He mentioned health issues in this thread on hydraulic kits

Ah bummer, I hope he gets well.

Thanks. I had actually heard the rumour, but I don't like to spread rumours or speak for others. ;-)
I'll shoot you a PM, I'm patient! I'm sure the fine folks at the US CBP will find a block of metal with holes highly interesting!

And o-rings! Don't forget the o-rings!

I wonder...

If instead of labeling it "tractor parts" on the customs form, I called it, oh, say "nuclear missile parts", would they come deliver it personally to your door? <lol>

Not a rumour or a secret. Respiratory illness has me pretty much confined to the house. Shop work is out of the question right now.

Ok, I'll stop sending US residents your way for now. Let me know if the situation changes.

Get well soon.

torch, do you still have blocks available? I need one for my L345, however, I only need the pressure and return on one side (facing outward toward the wheel).

Yes, I have some of the "universal" design ready to go. If you prefer one with only the specified outlets, I could make one custom for your application.

FYI - received my block from @torch and it comes better packaged than parts from the Kubota mothership! I just need a few more bits to get my B1630 loader back in working order!

These are obsolete and no longer available. I have recently been contacted by a member asking if I will make him one of these after reading how I made mine. I know this comes up from time to time and would like to gauge the interest others might have -- if I`m going to set up to make a couple, I may as well make a few more.

Here are some photos of what I made in the past. I made the two shown out of steel, as that is what I had on hand, but I`m thinking aluminium would function just as well, be resistant to corrosion and cheaper to ship. I`m not sure of pricing yet -- I know metal pricing has shot up over the last year -- but would estimate it to be in the $30 to $50 range. Plus shipping.

Stock cover:

Inside of stock cover:

Inside (left) and outside (right) of diverter cover (note there is a third tapped outlet provided on the bottom face, all outlets tapped 3/ 8" NPT. Plug the unneded outlet or add a pressure gauge):

Hydraulic schematics from B7100 manual:
Are you still making these, or do you still have any for sale?

Since last fall, I've noticed a strange phenomenon: a number of people contacted me about these, provided a shipping address, I priced shipping, and then never heard from them again.

Machining is a hobby for me, primarily to support my other hobbies. I am providing these at cost. I am not guaranteeing when or if I will make more. I'm not holding them for those that inquire and leave it on the back burner.

Fair warning: I currently have one left. First come, first served. Check first it is still available before sending payment, even if I quoted you a price in the past.

And then there were none...

In a few weeks the bugs will be out and I'll be hiding from the blackflies. I'll probably make another batch then.

Where would this install on a L3301HST with a L525 Loader & BH77 hoe ? Would this be a better way to power a double spool valve for a T&T down the road ? MY 3pt has a hydraulic motor for the chute rotation & it would be nice to be able to use one of the spools for the blower chute in the winter & a T or T in the summer .
thanks

I don't believe this will fit an L3301. It is only known to fit older L and B series tractors. You would have to verify if the machine has a hydraulic block and then compare dimensions of your cover to the dimensions given in the first post of this thread.

Status update: Not as far along as I had planned. All spring/summer, every time I get back to it, set up, and start making chips something more urgent reared it's ugly head and this project got shoved to the side. Right now I have a batch of 6 cut to size with the faces drilled and tapped, just waiting for the rest of the holes to be finished.

This past week, interest surged again so now there are 9 of you looking for one. I bought another chunk of aluminium and started cutting off the next batch of 6. The saw can run in the background while I drill and tap. At least, it could until the drive belt broke last night... <sigh>

You do not need this block. Your tractor already has an outlet block that is feeding the loader. All you need to do is buy a valve, mount it to any convenient spot on the tractor, and add it to the existing circuit - three hoses, Here is a picture of a single spool valve mounted on my LA525. It could just as easily be two, three, or more spools - the plumbing is exactly the same.

I am having health issues but if you are not in a rush I can still put these together.

Got busy the past couple months and forgot to check back. Glad to see I didn't miss out.

I spent several hours today trying to catch up to the demand. As Dan pointed out, swapping the setup around to accommodate 6 ports drags out the process. Especially the single port on each end.

Thinking on it, and reviewing this thread, does anybody actually need the ports on the two ends? That was the format of the original 70060-00360 as shown in the B7100 manual, but that was superseded by 70070-00385 with the ports on the face. Either one will work on a B7100 and it's close relations.

If I recall correctly, the L185/235/245/275/285305/345 etc. need two ports on the edge. But I can't recall mention of any tractor needing a port on either end.

Unless someone tells me different, I think I can just omit the end ports and save a lot of unnecessary work.
