Just make sure no ill-tempered roosters are allowed on your place, they can present a real danger with large, sharp spurs....I'm sure you are aware.

The good news is animals take it much better than most humans. That being said we have friends coming to stay that we haven't seen in years so pretty sure we'll be toasting to his speedy recovery later this evening.

Mine are in the bottom crisper drawer in the fridge. Keeps them at the optimum temperature

Our girl has had the bandage off for about a week now, and stitches are out. She has been pretty good about not licking. Kinda looks like a chicken foot now. Lol
