Grass is just starting to come up. Won't have to mow for a bit yet. But the first couple times will probably result in slinging water with the finish mower behind the tractor in the back yard. Probably be the end of June or early July before I'll be able to use the finish mower back there.

I need to get my landscape trailer out of winter storage on the back fence line. But right now it would make a huge mess. Same with mulching the flower beds. Should have done it last fall when it was dryer

Made a big mistake thinking the ground was frozen up to the main barn which is slightly uphill. I rutted the turn around and got my wife's buggy stuck and had to winch it out. I'll be levelling the ruts this spring I suspect....If, it dries out. Lots of standing water here and last night added to that. She had 5 bags of cattle feed in the back from the co-op.

I used my head, drove it up to the barn and had Amy unload it. I'm not touching anything over 10 pounds for a good while.

I cannot even get in my car (Focus RS), too low to the ground to bend that far. Like putting on my socks, no can do.... yet.

Another couple weeks and I should be ok. Have 2 doctor's (surgeon's) appointments Monday and Tuesday. I need to find out if I should put in for a New Mexico elk tag or not. Put in for Maine Moose anyway. That is a cheap tag. NM isn't. 695 for the lesser units, 795 for 16 and 17 plus 65 bucks base license and 10 bucks for the stamp.

Been playing Maine for about 10 years now and have a pile of preference points.

Pulled a 15 tag last year but had to get a refund from the State as well as the outfitter.

Trust me, with what you have coming, they will be real busy. The high wind warning (60+ mph gusts, sustained 35-40 mph winds remains in effect here until 4 AM Monday morning., extended from 8 PM this evening. I thought it was over, guess not.

20K without power in metro Detroit. Down here not too bad. Ours hasn't failed.... yet but I have my backup genny's no matter what. 45 seconds after utility dropout, I'm back online in single and 3 phase power.

My 3 phase diesel genny is John Deere powered. Surprised when I bought it, figured it came with a Kubota. It didn't.

I had to mow grass today! Lol, front yard had patches that were close to two feet tall. The whole yard needs mowed but it’s a swamp right now.

Yeah the weatherman is calling for 4 to 6 here today and tonight, and then 4 days of mid 20s and low teens, then back up to the low to 50s and 30s at night. It has been a roller coaster ride this year
