Hi all,

I have a 4wd l2850 shuttle shift tractor with FEL. The last time using it i noticed when in 4wd there is a serious knocking directly under the seat, doesn't do it when going straight more when turning or clutching out. Runs fine in 2wd no noises at all. What could it be?

Most common and simple issue is worn joints on the Propeller shaft, pull the shields and inspect. ;)

Look at the splines under item #20. Take the shields off. Remove the roll pin, slide the coupling, notice the condition of the splines on the shaft and and the splines in the coupling.

What kind of terrain? 4wd requires some wheel slip when turning or it will bind up.

The couplings get worn more than the shaft and will slip if worn too much. ;)
