Weak loader on kubota b7200 with 1640 loader

I'm trying to figure out the location of relief spring on the valve and what kind of shims I need. I think I have found where the spring is, on the top. But there's also one on the bottom. My primary issue is break out force on the curl, it doesn't do what it should. It's a 1986 tractor, so I'm...

    Small bump in 4wd, occasionally

On my kubota b7200, front left wheel, i feel something seemingly once per rotation. It's been intermittent though. I was digging in the dirt pile with the loader, in a mud pit, 4wd going full tilt, spinning tires and turning the wheel trying to get traction, and no issues. Seems to be happening...

    Fuel oil

I had fuel oil delivered yesterday and I asked if he could put off road diesel into my drums. He said it's all the same anymore for what they put in the tanks, it is diesel. It was dye'd red. I had him fill my drums and put it in my heaters and everything ran fine. I put my archoil addetive in...

    b7200 r4's

I currently have turfs on my b7200 and want r4's. Do I have to change the rim? Where can I get a good set of r4's for a reasonable price? I'm not getting the power to the ground in the muck and almost got stuck the other day. Was actually sliding sideways at one point it was so slick.

    Kubota v1200 engine

I have had a hell of a time finding information about this engine so I'm hoping someone can shed some light on it. From what I've been able to find, it was used in the kubota b9200. What I'm looking for is a hydraulic pump that attaches directly to the engine. The closest thing I was able to...

No movement when stuck in 4wd

When I run 2wd and my blade catches on something, my back tires spin. However when I run 4wd and my blade catches on something, they don't. The tractor can't overcome the traction, it makes sense. However, it doesn't bog the engine at all, I just push down on the pedal and it doesn't move. I...

How do you deal with snow?

Finally got some of the white stuff, and showed no mercy. That 1.5" never knew what hit it.

Added hydraulic lift to my b8200 snowblower

I ended up buying the hoses locally. the cylinder and spool valve were NPT, no idea what the kubota was, but they had an adapter. All the hoses are JIC with NPT adapters. 2x 10' 1/2" JIC with swivels, 2x 5' 3/4" JIC with adapters. $400 for hoses $20 for hydraulic cylinder $20 for spool valve...

    Kubota zd21 with intermittent sputtering

Figured I'd post info for anyone who might have had this problem. My mower started just fine. I'd mow for a few minutes, then it would drop RPM to barely running, and sometimes would stall out. I could mow the yard with this happening about 5-6 times. It only lasted for a few seconds, then...

    B8200 hydraulic block thread

I'm looking to figure out what thread type is on my block. I'm adding a spool valve and hydraulic cylinder and i need an adapter to go to the hoses. I'm looking to go to 1/2" NPT.

A little bit smokey and a little bit whiney

When I increase the rpm's for my b8200, it huffs a bit of black smoke. Same when under load. Just trying to make sure that this is normal. It doesn't lose power at all, and pushes through what ever it is doing. Oil and filter are fresh last spring. Tractor starts easy and every time. Also I...

    Generator Shed

Finally made some serious progress on the shed for the generator. A couple weeks back I poured the pad, but the weather wasn't cooperating. Finally some nice weather. I put cinder blocks around and glued them down using landscape rock caulk stuff and let it set for a couple days. This weekend...

    Diesel Treatment

For years i've been using diesel kleen centane booster and anti-gel. I had it in my diesel excursion since 04, so I started adding it to my kubota. No issues. But I wondered if there was maybe a better product that others could recommend? I'm picking up fuel in my 55g drum for the winter and...

Finally got my cab on the tractor

Put new insulation down. I used a 4'x6' stall mat. Was a nightmare to cut through, and I'm not done yet, but it's mostly there. Need to add a few bolts to pin down important areas. It's much better than my old recycled rubber mat, extremely durable and tough.

    How do you refuel?

I have 2 kubota's, my b8200 and zd21. 8.3 gallon gas tanks on both. Trips to the gas station are tedious, 6x 5gal cans every couple weeks. My solution is simple. 2x 55gal drums. One stationary, one that I can put on the trailer. I can fill up with AG diesel for $2/gal at 55gal on the trailer...

    ZD21 Hydro Rebuild

So my new to me mower needs a bit of work. The left side hydro is acting up, don't go into reverse, and sometimes doesn't go forward. I knew that when I bought it, the guy advertised it as engine only, but I took the whole thing. This issue is caused by the hydro sucking air, which is most...

    Brought home a 2001 ZD21 today

I was hunting for a diesel motor for a generator project, when I came across a craigslist add for a 21hp kubota 3cyl motor with less than 1000 hours for $500. Accessories included an entire zero turn mower and spare set of turf tires. Turns out the left hydro lost reverse due to the common...

My kubota B8200 from the day I bought it until now

Finally have I got everything in order. It's been a long work in progress for sure. Last year my craftsman LT2000 gave out. i mow about 2 acres and it is a chore sometimes with that thing. So I was shopping for a zero turn when I came across the b8200 with no attachments for $2000. Scooped it...

    Broke mower belt

The belt on my 3pt finish mower broke today. It's not a kubota mower. I laid out the belt on the ground and measured it and got 110". That should be 110" OD, right? Also 110" belts are expensive, except this one site I found. $7 for regular, $18 for kevlar. Amazon has them for $50 for regular...

3pt finish mower ready for action

Just finished tonight. All chains and links adjusted, all spindles and links greased, oil in the gear box overfilled to get the crud at the bottom out. Made a couple passes and the cut is great. It feels a bit big/heavy for the tractor but it does the job. Power steering makes it a breeze, half...
