    Just walkin in the RAIN!

With the reversed polarity on my Walmart "never start" battery finally solved - at least the reason the starter wouldn't engage - I'm now ready to start the engine and back it out of the garage! RIGHT? NOPE! Cranking for the first 10 seconds, no start! At oat of 60* So now energize the glo...

    Starter on B7500

The suggestions that polarity could have been a reason. My aged eyesight just overlooked an indication that all wasn't well. The numeric display on my test meter actually showed the obvious " - " in front of the 12.8V but I didn't see it until way late in the search! But so far no explanation...

    Starter on B7500

Due to "Murphy Being Always On The Job" I've missed most of the posts in between my first posts about the starter issue on my B7500! I appreciate all the convers about what could be the problem. Funny enough there were a couple that were close but other stuff just made me look in another...

    Starter on B7500

The starter on my B7500 will not engage the bendix into the flywheel The starter spins butt will not turn the engine over. I have switched the solenoid from a starter from another then changed a whole starter that was a recent purchase and no luck with all those fixes!

    Any Swedes here?

I have relatives that are still Svenska. Several still live in Sweden so I will see if some of them have any ideas. Decedents of my paternal Grandfather.

    B2650 ballast box

When I first got Old Dog it had liquid in the rear tires. For the light work I never saw a need for more aft weight. Later some heavier work and losing the ballast in one rear tire I opted to mount the 5 foot box blade and that along with a five foot piece of rail road rail took care of my...

    BX2200 Moving Camper

I wouldn't rec using the FEL bucket for that tongue weight. The load isn't the same as picking up a bucket load of dirt or gravel. Unless you opt for a spreader bar that distributes the load evenly you chance bending the bucket in the middle. If you still need to do it - spring for the 3pt...

    Pulling up posts

That is an old time farm trick. Steel posts are sometimes a bugger and this method saves lots of time and grief. The only alternate I would recommend is using a tow strap instead of a chain. I hate chains!

    Pulling up posts

I got one of those a while back and simply love it. I have an old steel receiver basket for my rv or pickup and for toting gas cans, batteries, fire wood etc etc it is a life saver! The only thing is that this newer B7500 doesnt have any weights or FEL so the leverage on the hitch ball will...

Quick Question - Did I Damage my BX?

10+ years with Old Dog and the 4X4 will go in if there is wheel spin and out if we transition from dirt to pavement to avoid lurch. Never have heard any gear noise and IMHO it is a non issue. Added info - - It is a B7500 if that makes a difference/

    B7500 DIARY

About 8 months ago I bought a BX2350 with a FEL and a 60inch mid mount mower. It was, I suppose, like all of that model. HST and weak hydraulics. I just failed to get used to the pedal arrangement so off it went! I did like the mower but this newer B7500 came with a 3 point Land Pride finish...

    B7500 DIARY

In this B7500 diary, I'll introduce Old dog w/2500hours, beat up but runs once it starts. I know! I know! but below 70* the first start takes a puff of - - - - ! I just recently acquired another B7500 that starts like a dream. It came with 540hours and just testing, even at 50* it will start...

NEW STARTER but old wiring harness

Thanks Dave, You are correct in that there is a dearth of specific info on the B7500 systems. BUT! what you linked me to, was a real help. Tracing wires isn't my cup of tea but seeing the direct line from the starter to the clutch safety switch did the trick. That switch had been accidentally...

NEW STARTER but old wiring harness

Just put on a new starter that another had removed. No response when key is turned Is there a wiring diagram where I could determine the location of the wiring for the starter? It is a B7500

    B7100 vs B7500

All the questions on different kinds of maintenance issues seem to avoid any references to the B7500. I know they probably have as many issues as the lighter, less powerful B7100 compacts but I have problems finding pointers to fix my B7500. Right now I'm having starter or solenoid problems...

    B2150HST Speed Pedal

I have a different HST problem. Neither of the directional pedal pressing will return to neutral when pedal pressure is let off. With the engine shut down the pedal returns quickly in both forward and reverse modes. I found the grease fitting for the pedal shaft but no results after that. Is...
