I can report that the R14 tires work well in the snow up to the point where you beach the frame on a snowbank or two. That was with the 24" that we had recently though and I don't see it having any problems with typical snow storms.

Got some additional garage time after work today and made some more progress. Hard lines are now in and I also added flat face couplers and attached the hoses going from the hard lines to the third function valve. For others interested in this installation, I would suggest taping the hard lines...

The one thing I noticed from your pictures is that your cylinders are further apart on the blade end than the mount end which is the opposite of mine. This may still work fine but if you are not happy you can try switching the setup and see if you like that better.

So progress hasn't been as planned, but I at least got the snapped bolt removed today. Counting that as a win.

The width of compact tractors make them easier to roll than larger tractors. Best advice is to mow up and down hills and not side to side. Wheel spacers and fluid filled rear tires will also increase stability. Additionally, you should remove the loader when mowing to further improve stability...

Glad to hear. My tractor arrived with one 6 ply front tire and one 4 ply front tire. Dealer had never seen it before but they quickly swapped out the 4 ply with a 6 ply. A good dealer is worth thier weight in gold when issues arise.

If I could source offroad diesel and add anti-gel as needed, I would certainly go that route.
