    Kubota Tool-N-Go

You can get fitting plugs instead of pipe plugs, which will fit the OD of the pipe/ID of a fitting. I bought a couple of the ones in the OP, they were delivered yesterday. I will make my own with some PVC pipe and plugs for the FEL cross tube though.

    Grapple Size - L3800

I have an L3800 with the LA524 loader. I have a lead on a grapple for a price that I"m having a hard time passing up - only problem is the grapple is a bit bigger than I need or really want (72"). It's a Titan, but the price makes me overlook that fact - i'm also not using it for hard hard...

    Sweet! Picked up a SSQA

Picked up a used Kubota SSQA for a smoking price today - now I need to modify my bucket with an attachment plate. Any particular brands out there that are good, bad, etc? Proably going with 5/16" thick - 1/4" seems too light, 3/8" just adds weight. It's for an L3800. I can also now seriously...

    SSQA Adapter

Has anybody used one of these to make their own SSQA? Looks like all one would need to do is cut the ears off the existing bucket and weld them (maybe with an additional piece of plate, not sure) to this. Half the price of an ATI or Kubota brand SSQA adapter sounds good to me, especially with...

Throwing it out there - R1 trade for R4 (L3800)?

Doubt I'll get any interest, but I'm going to try anyway - I currently have R1 ag tires and wheels on my L3800, really would like to swap to R4's and am willng to trade. Tires are in great shape, no rust on wheels at all. I would be willing to travel a reasonable amount to meet (I'm in...

    L3800 Tire Question

One of these days I"m going to change from the R1 ag tires to R4 Industrials for my L3800. Question I have is this - the fronts are called to be 27x8.50x15 in R1. Would there be any real net negatives to going with a 27x10.50x15? I'm not trying to bling out my tractor - but the additional...

    Fuel additives

Gulf coast Texas here.....and same. I will toss in some Opti-Lube for the times when my tractor spends several months outdoors at the deer lease, especially if it is a wet season. Outside of that...just run the hell out of it, change the oil and filters and generally take care of it and no issues.

    Fuel additives

Here is a study done that has some actual numbers showing what worked, what didn't and what pretty much was a neutral additive. Diesel Fuel Lubricity Additive Study Results

    L series tire trade, R1 to R4

I would be willing to trade my R1's off my L3900 for R4's. I'm south of Houston, not a bad trip to central LA...

Dumb question, but I'm going to ask it anyway

That's what I thought. But I can add additional bracing for a hell of a lot cheaper than the cost difference between the two. *Maybe, depends on shipping costs

Dumb question, but I'm going to ask it anyway

Only difference that I can see is the size and location of the brace between the two plates. Just want to make sure that's it before I drop a few hundred bucks on something, that's all.

Dumb question, but I'm going to ask it anyway

This. Two different part numbers in the drawings. One is about 2x the cost of the other, curious as to why and if they are the same. If it's a case of one has been re-designed to beef it up over the other, i'll go with the cheaper and add some support members myself.

Dumb question, but I'm going to ask it anyway

Ok, let me rephrase. There are two types of SSQA front attachments - one is part number 7J290-36100 (which I have seen also referred to as the LA555 or L2217), it is the SSQA for the bucket and implements. It has a square tube welded between the SSQA plates and levers at the top. The other is...

Dumb question, but I'm going to ask it anyway

What is the difference between a LA514 and a LA555 quick attach? On the Kubota website, both are listed for the LA524 loader. The 514 is significantly cheaper than the 555 (roughly 60% of the price), which I'm very interested in that aspect. Looks like the LA514 has a pipe welded between the...

Do you have a picture of the hood for the l3800-L4200?
