One of these days I"m going to change from the R1 ag tires to R4 Industrials for my L3800. Question I have is this - the fronts are called to be 27x8.50x15 in R1. Would there be any real net negatives to going with a 27x10.50x15?

I'm not trying to bling out my tractor - but the additional bearing surface area would defnitely be useful to prevent rutting when i'm working around my house as well as helping when I"m out on our land because it's generally muddy and soft and every little bit of additional help would make a difference to keep the front end from sinking.

I also was thinking of doing the same thing. Just measure the distance all the way around the tire and see if you can find a 10” wide with same circumference so your lead timing is correct so as not to damage the 4 wheel drive

I have a L3800 with R4 tires that i would like to trade for a set of R1 tires. I hope you still have your R1s because i am not far from you in Nederland Tx. Mine have around 260 hours on them.
