Our microwave is on the blink. :( It's amazing how many things got "nuked" each day.
Oh man, I feel for you. Ours is an everyday appliance.

It’s almost like flipping light switches when the power is off…..

Well it is not your normal cuisine here in the USA, but our normal lunch these days on Tuesday.

Rice is cooked, as is the shrimp (in this case) and egg. Rest of the fish is in its natural State.

It’s my favorite food actually, although there are others I enjoy as well, from different ethnic backgrounds.

This is Sushi for those who are not familiar with it.

The green substance on the lower left of the photo is a paste called wasabi, which is spicy but different in that it’s affect is not long lasting like a red pepper would be. It can make your scalp tickle though if used in excess!

Yall got some big crawfish 😂
That's a huge claw!

When my twin daughters were 4 or so, we started going on vacation to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. Did it for years.

A favorite Happy Hour/Dinner spot had live Reggae music about 5pm.

They had a raffle for a 13 (?) pound lobster, and had the girls draw the winner up on the bandstand.

That thing was enormous!! Looks like yours, Daylight.

One year, a place there had a 3-4 pound steamed lobster special for the whole week.

The girls would split a Fried Calamari appetizer, then each would eat half of that lobster. 🦞

They were probably 5 at the time. Mom and Dad helped disassemble the lobster.

People at neighboring tables were astounded....🦞 looked almost as big as they were...

They ended up being Division 1 College Track Sprinters, so I don't think the lobsters hurt their development... ;)

Been cold and rainy here as well. Gonna prep the crock pot tomorrow morning and get a double batch of chili going. Not sure if the kids are coming here tomorrow night for trick or treating. So I'll be prepared if they stop by.

If they don't come by, I'll freeze some chili to take to work for lunches periodically 😎😎😎

Wings?!?

I hear they’re hard to come by…those look really good!!

I make a Buffalo-style sauce at home that’s good enough to bottle and sell commercially.

Might be my retirement hobby…..
Yep wings. Dry rubbed. Must have done the trick. My Spartans are now 8-0 with the win over the wolverines!
