I can't find this online but what is the L3901DT vs L3901? I also saw an L3901E.
Anyone know what the last letters mean on this tractor?

The L3901 comes in three versions:

L3901E = 2wd, gear drive
L3901DT = 4wd, gear drive
L3901H, also called L3901HST = 4wd, Hydrostatic drive

Thanks, this helps when looking at different reviews. I have the L3901H, I guess, on order to be delivered next week. The quote I received only distinguished my tractor as a L3901.

I guess you'll get a surprise when your tractor arrives. 4WD generally costs more than 2 WD, as does HST. I did not know that all HST models were 4WD as Wolfman said. I mean I bought an HST tractor and it is 4WD but I thought the dealer was only stocking 4WD. I've got some learning to do, too.

Well, he said it was HST but never listed that on my quote sheet.

What's wierd, too, is after we came up with the negotiated price, he said I have until the end of 10/18 to make the offer valid & after I accepted, a downpayment was never requested. Is this normal?? Usually, I'm used to making a deposit prior to ordering.

When folks on this forum bought your tractor, did you not have to put anything down until delivery?

Kubota's current financing deal is 0% and $0 down. Basically impossible beat...you don't need to put down a cent.
