Read the operator manual carefully.
Especially understand the differential lock if you have one. You can damage stuff in a hurry if you don't fully understand things.

First answer was correct. It locks/unlocks the loader controls.
You can get a manual online at Kubotabooks.

I do not live in an agriculture area and there's probably no tractor like mine within 100 miles or more .
My phone can't DL anything. I'm going to get a new one when I can afford it. I do not own a computer either so I'm stuck asking stupid questions and getting belittled on this forum for not knowing some things.
I didnt grow up around equipment like many here did.
Nobody is "belittling" you.
All you need to "know" as far as general operation is in the owners manual.

First it is not a stupid question at all if you just don't know.
And the answer to this question could save your life.
The lock is to prevent someone from bumping the loader control stick causing the loader to move by 'accident'. This is handy if you're using the bucket to say hold a post while pouring concrete into the base or some-such task that may require the bucket to remain still while your getting on and off the tractor. I know I've caught my coat on the stick a couple times - luckily without causing any harm.
I don't think anyone replying to this post so far has intentionally tried to belittle you, though I must admit sometimes some replies read like they do. Anyways welcome to OTT and I'm glad your here.

It's unlocked for loader operation and you can lock it for unintentional loader control usage.

Something to keep in mind - this only locks the loader controls, not the loader itself, so theoretically if something failed with the hydraulics the loader could move even with the stick locked. A lot may think I’m being ridiculous, but I reccomend not getting under or on top of any attachments/loaders that are that not resting on the ground or supported by something mechanical such as jackstands. Someone in Michigan just died from his plow on his truck pinning him while he was under it. Just something to think about if the risk (while admittedly minor) is worth it.
I am also new to all this, only thing I had experience before the tractor was a small riding mower with. If you can get your hands on the manual I would definitely read it as it has good operating tips and provides lots of information. I would also really recommend reading some threads on here, most of the stuff I know about the tractor in terms of operating it is from this forum. There are hundreds of threads and posts on here that were and still are a big help for me to learn something. A good place to look is the what did you do on your Kubota today thread. Has a variety of different posts with lots of pictures and questions.

You can go to a local library and download free manuals there. They might print it out for a reasonable fee. I looked at Kubotabooks.com and found only the workshop manual for your B7510 which is very large and would be a lot of printing. Hopefully you can find an owners manual on another site, Amazon has one for $25.
