50 hour service today, also changed HST fluid.
it didnt look as bad as my B2601 did at 50 hours but still a little gnarly.

someone on this site suggested this little piece that fits under the engine filter to stop the oil from dribbling down everywhere and it worked quite well

That orange drip catcher thingy looks neat. What is it called and where is it available from? Looks like a good idea for a "stocking stuffer" to myself this Christmas!!

Also, what brand of floor wax do you use for your garage floor? Looks GREAT!!

your fancy lift will work even better when it's on epoxy floors and paired up with a mini-split! :p

A cut up milk jug, thin cardboard works, but I learned about that bib here on OTT someplace, looks like its doubled in price :( . Ernst Filter

"Touche!", on the lift. LOL!

Thanks for the heads up on the filter drip catcher! I searched this on ebay " Orange Set Primary Oil Fill Funnel+Drip Free Oil Filter For Harley Touring Dyna" and found the set with a few extras for $11.29 + tax.
It may be a knock off but should work just as well.

Plus, the extra funnel will make a nice gift for the wife.

It's kind of mind boggling how useful these tractors are. Not only is that my personal experience but the posts here are a testament to the functionality and versatility of these tractors.

This weekend I used the bucket to get the F250 and Jeep TJ wheels/studded snow tires from the barn and haul them to the garage. After swapping out the summer wheels/tires I took two sets back to the barn again using the bucket. Then I ran a long tow strap around a support in the barn and pulled it back to square, and installed some 2"x8"x16' lumber to tie the outer walls together so that the barn will stay square until such time as I'm able to build end walls. I was going to tear the barn down this year but with current prices it makes no sense to do that. It's much cheaper to make some improvements and leave it where it is for implement and firewood storage if nothing else.

I've been clearing manzanita and making burn piles, no pictures of the actual work) and this weekend, I got my box attached and had the grandkid with me to take it for a test drive.

Quick dig this am to install a new sump pump line out to daylight. Easy dig, beautiful soil and a really nice fall day. Just a couple of pics should suffice for this one...

I pulled a tree out of my black dirt pile. The fact that it's been sitting there for 10 years doesn't make it not a black dirt pile! I'll get it spread out, I swear! Maybe I'll get some time in the spring.

A coworker that bought an older Kubota a couple of weeks before I bought mine loaned me his 5' back blade. I got my 3 point hitch working properly (sticky linkage, a little lube and good as new) and made a few passes before it got so dark I couldn't see what I was doing.
Still on the steep part of the learning curve, but getting better.
All of these rocks were pulled up by the blade. Ugh.
I'm impressed. In 4wd low I was pulling a full blade of dirt up my steep driveway and pulling up those soccer ball sized rocks.
The blade is quite stout. My coworker is looking for a bigger one and said if he found one he'd let this one go for a good price.

Today was very frustrating. Set out to spread two piles of wood chips, ez. Woodchips usually spread really well, and go really quick... Only this time was different. As soon as I stuffed the bucket into the pile I noticed these wood chips were shredded roots, sticks, branches and shredded stringy vines, like spaghetti. The rake could not effectively spread them and would fill up in about two feet, rendering the gauge wheels useless, the bucket just made giant ugly lumps. Beautiful day for tractoring, but very maddening....

The little guy helped put the old timer to bed for the winter. Filled up the tank, pulled the battery, and put a canvas over its tarp. The ‘Moline is also parked on pieces of 2x12.

There’s a30’x120’ concrete pad under the leaves. Will blow the leaves off in the spring. Too many still on.

Used to be a 3-story chicken coop from an egg farm. Has 150 maple taps now. We bought the lot couple years ago. 1.75 acres, and adjoining our house, which is in the background. Also has a separate driveway which is behind me in the picture. Gives us almost 300 yards of road frontage.

Cutting pasture down. Roughly 6ac. And “rough” is the key word. I may have to go back and hit this w a disc to smooth things out some. Looks smooth but it’s pretty lumpy. Took about 6 hrs total...hilly in the front so had to mid-low it a fair amount.
