Used the forks to unload the Yardmax wood splitter I picked up at HD yesterday. Last week I unloaded the BX42S chipper I ordered and picked up at the FedEx terminal. Posted roads around here still, and too much snow and mud to work, but I’m getting ready...

Please keep us updated on the BX42S a chipper is on my short list. I burned a brush pile yesterday but it made me very uncomfortable. I think I’ll be better served chipping.

Will do. I’ve been looking at used ones but most on CL go for as much or more around here and sell quickly. They’ve been around long enough with enough great reviews and that helped. It looks well built especially for the price.

Watched my wife mow the back field (Box Scraper was removed) while I had a beer. Tractor worked great. This is our 2nd day of ownership. Skeets wanted some tractor porn, I will try and post my first picture of the BX2680. Wish me luck, Great Forum.

Very nice but be careful letting your wife use it or you may have to buy another one for yourself, just sayin'.;)

Today I finally built up the courage to take the loader off. What an ordeal. Got the pins out easily enough but when I tried to lift the loader up nothing happened. Had to get the lump hammer to break the seal on the front seat. Clearly this loader hadn't been off for years, if ever.
Then on to the anything but quick release connectors. All the rings were stuck and had to be gently tapped back. Then the pipes wouldn't come free because the ball bearings were seized. So after quite a bit of jiggling in a very tight spot they finally released. And I was ready for off except that I hadn't lifted the rear of the loader high enough to clear the front tyres
Eventually got away for a few loads of turf and I must say I am very impressed with this machine in soft ground. :D
Of course when I got home the loader was needed so had to put it on again. That's when I discovered that moving it without the pipes connected put pressure into the lines  Ah well, it's back on now and at least I have learnt some things for the next time.

Still too much frost and mud to do anything, but I did take advantage of the nice weather and took the snowblower off and assembled and mounted the QH and chipper. I put together a splitter too, all with help from a great neighbor.

As a new tractor owner is it wrong I "accidentally" left it out after work and "had" to fire it up to "put it away after dinner" in the dark ;)

I picked up my BX2660 less than a month ago and probably run it every day since for some reason - had 214 hours now 225...

I finally was able to free up the money for a new Tach assembly.
Mine died last year and due to the expense it was pretty low on the list of priorities.

Here it is, $460 later.

DON'T DO IT!!!!!!! back slowly away from the blades!!!!!! Go inside and have your favorite brew and relax. It is Friday the 13th you know

We are supposed to get hammered today. Rain, more rain, severe thunderstorms, and more rain. Plus tornados and such :( Gonna have to hay the yard when it finally dries out enough to get on it

Not an option skeets. I sharpened my blades 2 weeks ago. Terrible weather since. Put the blades on the deck last night. They're now calling for snow Monday and Tuesday. All due to my hope for spring to be here. [emoji17]

The best option, leave the blade on, go to local kubota dealer, get new tractor to mow with.

It’s a great day to get hammered if you’re into that sort of thing, just saying...:D
