Photos? I would like to see the final product. Looked good along the way.
Ask, and it shall be given. Happened to be sitting right by the finished project watching the sprinklers and having a cold adult beverage.

As for the results of giving Lil’ K a bath:

All dressed up and no where to go. I even used some Turtle Wax spray wax on her, especially the orange and plastic bits. Was gonna put some Armorall on the tires, but decided that might be a bit overkill. But I now have clean FEL pins and bushings, none worn or damaged, and a much cleaner boom. I’m sure I felt it wiggle a couple times while I was rubbing the wax on.
I used O’Reilly’s Engine Degreaser on the FEL and half a roll of paper towels to remove the old grease. There was a LOT of grease after 260 hours. There was at least a pound of grease on it that wasn’t doing anything except collecting dirt.

Overflow parking area job looks fantastic!

Done. Could've used another 5 yards or so of millings. Resorted to putting the rake on and borrowing some from the rest of the driveway. Good enough for now. Saw henrietta out back near the dirt piles. She really didn't seem to care that I was there.

Must you buy millings?
Around here they are expensive!
I got these last year when I added the driveway loop. They were milling out on a major highway and these came direct (no further refinement). I got these for about 1/3 the cost of stone.

I got lucky then. County was milling shoulder of my road, so I asked if I could get load for my sons house and mine. No problem, we each got a 10 wheeler load of millings no charge. Last year I got 6 loads of good fill when they were digging up culverts on my road…

Thanks for the flowers. That’s my second major dig with it since I bought it. First dig was the pad for its bedroom, the 24x36 shop me and the missus built in 2021. I do most of the heavy lifting, she keeps me calm enough to avoid the neighbors calling the cops.

I really need to upgrade my box blade to one that is wider than the LX. Sure would make leveling gravel and clay a lot easier. Better yet, a grader blade that can be used in corners would be even better, also wider than the LX.

I finally broke down and bought a set of the Kubota rear 50lb weights. Kinda pricey at $116+ tax per side, and dealer told me this was last set at that price, new stock price went up. The pros of these to me are: easy to take on/off if I want to move them to the turf tires. Access to wheel bolts with weight on rim. Won’t leak out if I run over something. They don’t stick outside of the wheel like some of the larger/plastic weights do. The Kubota part # is BX8113.

Installed a nice radio in my cab. The 10 second delay is awesome when using the cd player. I'm waiting for the baler to finish another field, so in the interim I wrestle with my Beagle.

Is that a euphemism? Or maybe you have a Beagle! :ROFLMAO:

"in the interim" implies that you're involved in the haying operation. Are you transporting bales with your tractor?

Water service job today with a gas line in close proximity.

backfill: The U-27 is still impressing me. Yanked and lifted that entire section of sidewalk with ease. I bounced it off the road to break it. I just couldn't heave the whole slab into the back of the dump in one shot.

On to an emergency sewer line in the am. Seems like the guys got some equipment stuck in the line while doing a trenchless spot repair. It will no longer be "trenchless" after I get there. 😁
