If there’s snow then rain or freezing rain in the cards, I like to leave the snow for the rain to fall on.So I think we will have at least 4" before feezing rain, if that info helps you advise me on when to plow.
Well cry me a river, you all. Just this morning the Temp. broke 0F. for the first time in 48Hrs. It's now a blazing 13F, time to break out the shorts and sunscreen...LOL
Looking at a foot or better tonight into Mon-Tue time.
Woke up at 5:45 this morning looking at -20F, the furnaces and the propane tank need a break.Tom - yeah, we’ve been a little brisk too. This was yesterday late-morning.
I did score a gallon of Rotella T6 and fuel filters so all was good.
We’re forecast for 3-6 with some rain/sleet mixing in. Looks like you folks up Route 12 could get a lot.

Yeah - heard Saranac Lake mentioned on Weather Channel at -29. Coldest I’ve seen is -36F a few times.Woke up at 5:45 this morning looking at -20F, the furnaces and the propane tank need a break.

Exactly .. you really never know what Mother Nature is going to throw at us. I think the highest of all was under 3' but even those were pretty destructive.Yeah - heard Saranac Lake mentioned on Weather Channel at -29. Coldest I’ve seen is -36F a few times.
Unrelated to this storm, our daughter lives in Santa Cruz, CA.
They had a tsunami yesterday from a volcanic eruption near the Tonga Islands.
Was only a foot or so, but funneled into the harbor where her beau’s boat lives.
She said the walkway is usually steep down to the water, and lowered quickly.
Being her Dad, I really wanted to say GET TO HELL OUT OF THERE!!!
