You are very welcome and are not the first person to thank me either.

50*F last weekend. Not complaining a bit.

When I was buying the tractor this fall I told my wife that investing in a machine that had a 50" snowblower was a guarantee that we'd have a mild, wet or snowless winter. So far thats coming true but I hear big shifts in patterns for the 2nd half of winter coming. If I dont get at least one 14-16" snow to try out the blower I admit I'll be a bit upset. I love storms!

Heading up to go camping tomorrow. Forecast for Northern OH is cold low 30's upper 20's but now snow. I can take that as long as it doesn't rain or thaw out in to a mud pit.

Probably will start snowing on the way home Sunday

We've had snow but can't complain so far, snow than rain with just a couple inches left on the ground. Sure will be hard to beat the non winter we had last year.

I'm pretty confident it will snow here, just a matter of time and I'm sure I'll get a chance to use the plow.

I'd prefer it to be cold and snowy for a stretch. This weather we are having is not conducive to killing off bug larva that is overwintering and thus will require more applications of pesticide next spring / summer growing season.

Inputs are always expensive, I like Mother Nature to lend a hand in the winter.

One reason why I live in the north. seasonal diversity is important for crops.

I did not mount the plow last night with snow predicted...
2 inches of light pow; really not enough to plow but since the box blade is mounted all winter, I did a quick skim over mine and my folks driveways.
It is supposed to turn to mixed precip. later so I will likely end up with a skating rink which has been the normal state of affairs here thus far:eek:

I'm another one who bought a new tractor and snow blower. We had a good amount of snow after Thanksgiving, but only rain since. Oh well it will come soon enough or should I say to soon for my liking.

Skeets, you just broke the seal! You should know better than to brag about the weather. Expect it to turn 180 now.

Last year a salesman was saying we didn't get the 'big one' this year. That was in the first part of April. Then the third week of April we got a double whammy of heavy wet snow. 29" total and it took out many roofs in the area, including a section on my shop.

It changed here last night and snowed instead of raining, and though not 29" it is the first really plowable and XC skiable since before Thanksgiving!

snowed all nite here in southern ohio...

just didnt stick to anything except the windshields.

had 16* at the house this morning. plenty cold enough & they are calling for 2-4" in our little valley this weekend.

thats not really enough to plow with the tractor, but it is enough to put the rubber bottomed blade on the Rhino.

not interested in messing up my new concrete.
