Got my new to me B26 tlb and noticed after sitting 2 days the right side
Stabilizer weeped down about half way to the ground. I didn’t detect any leaking from the seals or hose connections. What should be my next culprit to look at?

I have an L47 (next size up from B26) that I got 11 months ago (132 hrs). And the best advice I can give you is to check every single hydraulic fitting yourself. I don't know what's going on in the TLB factory but QC is really bad (at least on mine).

The QD connectors for the BH were only hand tight! They were leaking about 1pt/hr before I caught it. The FEL valve block had 2 loose fittings and the BH boom cylinder had 2 separate loose fittings too. I was also having sporadic "weakness" like low hydraulic pressure but only affecting one function or another, not everything all at once. My current theory is that the leaks were letting air into the system that would get into cylinders from time to time until it got worked out.

My FEL boom and BH dipper would also leak down too. But once I got all the loose fittings tightened down almost all of those problems went away. The BH curl is still sporadically weak --that is until last week when it blew a hose!

Mine is at the dealer now getting a full work over. 4th time it's been back for these same issues but I think this time they're really getting into it and making progress.

Hey CR thanks for the info I will go through all the connections over the weekend. The one other thing I noticed was when the stabilizer was half way down and the tractor not running I was able to lift the cylinder up about 8”. Almost as if their wasn’t enough fluid in the cylinder. Is that a normal sign?

#1 Check fitting for leaks as it sound like it's sucking air into the lines.
#2 Look for weeping at cylinder seals, but it may be leaking internally.
#3 Look for weeping at the seals on the valve portion.
#4 swap right and left rams and if the problem swaps sides it's an internal issue, if it does not then it's lines or valves.

Ok so are internal issues usually solved by replacing the seals? If so are there certain tools I should buy so I can do this myself? My previous b21 I would always bring the cylinders to the dealer and have them do them but it doesn’t look to be a very complicated job with some practice and proper tools.

Try running the stabilizer up and down a few times going completely down then completely up. If there is air trapped in the cylinder, running full cycles from end to end will help get it out. If you can move it by hand that much, there is probably some air trapped in there.

After getting my backhoe for my L3560, I was told that the stabilizers will settle or relax. It's what they do. If I leave my loader up and park it for the night, in the morning it will be sitting on the floor of my barn. I usually just run a ratchet strap from one stabilizer to the other to keep them from from settling down.
