When I start my L3450, I have to wiggle the shuttle lever to activate the safety switch until the start switch energizes the starter.

Can someone tell me where that safety switch is? It must need a little adjusting.

Re: Safety switches update

I have received no assistance on this matter, maybe I should revise my ask.:)

I am looking to locate the Shuttle and PTO Limit switches on a L3450. I have a picture, but it is too dark and I cannot recognize anything. If someone could point me where to look it would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Boyde

Sorry someone couldn't get to your request sooner. Sometimes it takes a while before a knowledgeable person can address your specific concerns.

Generically speaking, I would've done what you did.

Did you download the service manual that I sent you a link for?

Would be nice to share in your discovery for others. What switch or wiring and where did you find to be the culprit to be?

Take the panel under the steering wheel off, 4 bolts, the panel with the ignition switch. The shuttle Limiting switch is right there on the left side. Bend the reed, carefully, to engage the cam on the shuttle level sooner.

Hope this is satisfactory.
