The trailer is rated for 20K. That's why I bought it.
The load is heavy for the truck. We wanted to see if it was capable of pulling up a steep grade near our place. It has undergone some recent mods to the engine.

You got the right truck đź‘Ť 250 or 350? But you can get all the power you want out of it, but the biggest part of the towing capacity is brakes and its ability to stop the load

I did the same to my 6.0 F350 at 80K. Should be bulletproof now - lol.

The yankee in me had a hard time paying 550.00 for the head bolts.

Planning to drop the ball down a little to level it out better. This is an Aluminum 14K / 20’ gravity tilt trailer that weighs 2500#. Entire load including trailer, chains, etc weighs 7500# and tongue weight is 950#

Not the best photo I know, I bought this trailer from a guy who was a welder and made it from an old Four Winns boat trailer. It has welded cross braces and 5/4 x 6 pressure treated planks screwed down to it. I took it a few steps further and rewired it with new led lighting and electric brakes. I also had two swivel jacks welded on the back with D rings all around to strap it down on all the corners. I bought two 14" x 7' aluminum car ramps that hook on the back of the trailer. With the jacks and ramps loading and unloading are worry free.

Wish list would be a new larger trailer with built in ramps but as someone else said, two in college dampins things so I worked with what I had.

This was on 4 hour trip home after tractor purchase....its a MX5200, loader and boxblade. Its max load for the 18' pipe top rated at 7k lbs.

I need ramps and about to add brakes. Trip home was with my brothers F350 for added braking as my truck is a Ram 1500. It hauled fine, but would have been issue with brakes on my truck.

I scored a sweet 7K (spring) 7x20 aluminum trailer for my B2650 yesterday.

My 10K 7x22 steel Riese trailer has too many other uses. It also has a sweet winch (that is always in the tractors way) as well as a battery and charger setup. I was sick of not having one specific for the tractor and really didn't need the extra weight and "stuff".

The 7x20 is about 1000lbs lighter than my other one and tows like a dream.

I plan to fab up a rack in the front that I can set my grapple on for easy hauling. There has been a bunch of times that I would have liked to have the grapple. With the rack, I will be able to easily have it with me all the time now.

I'm envious of that aluminum trailer. I've been looking for a while now for one that size. Details please?

This is the model page,

This trailer has the added rails.

For what I paid, I would have bought it even if I didn't need it. It would be an instant flip.

That's a great looking trailer and a interesting bucket. What is the purpose of the teeth on the front lip? Digging roots?
That is the piranha tooth bar. It is super sharp and good for lots of things.
Roots and saplings are a given,
Better digging all the way around,
Additional 1/2" protective cutting edge (protect the bucket edge),
It also allows you to heap the bucket a little bit more.

About the only draw back is it is super sharp. Walking into it will not be any fun at all. If you are a heavy handed operator, it can be gouging (like snow removal).

What kind of number did you get it for if you don't mind? I have 2 trailers that I'd like to reduce down to a single 20' aluminum.

I stole it for 2500.00. It should be worth 4500.00 in my area.

The only problem that I have ever heard about aluminum is that metal fatigue will kill them sooner than it will with steel.

Just picked this up this afternoon. Forgot to bring my trailer stretcher, and I wasn’t making two trips.
