I have two dead riding lawn mowers, one hydrostatic that cannot be moved onto the trailer and one that the manual gearbox is locked in reverse and cannot be moved easily.

Glad a bought this to help my sore back, short piece of chain and easy does it! Slick as a whistle!

Despite being two POS, I got $100 each from someone who thinks they fix em! The Deere was a complete PITA to work on, the other needs the rear end replaced, two mowers that I am glad to be rid of ! Bought another POS, well I hope not, A Toro wheel horse used......wonder how long it will last!

The old Toro Wheelhorse will actually hold up pretty well, cast iron engine block is tough to kill depending on how old it is. Those things are still highly sought after and can bring decent money if fixed up or in original condition.

went to cut some grass with the ol' Toro, the chute was throwing grass in a nice little row, so I said WTH, I will shim it up a tad so it will throw it out some, that dang ol thing is solid metal. I was shocked! No more rubbing up against the fence or the deck or.....trees!!!! If it ever stops raining - I might get the blades out and sharpen them, I was surprised to see three under there!

Its a beefy durable mower for sure and still have quite the cult following. I even saw a fella on Ebay that makes a neat little kit where you can turn a Wheelhorse into a mini Ford 8N
