So the 6 inches of "Snow" I had to clear this morning was so mushy and heavy I actually broke my first Shear Bolt since 2013 :p

Smooth running snowblower

On the down side the day before yesterday with that 6 inches was the first time I ever had to stomp on the rear wheel lock since I bought this tractor..
Was running a little too close to the road edge I guess, and slipped the right side onto the shoulder, took a few minutes of crawling it back and forth to finally get her back up on the road bed..

Gotta love it

We've just had the Jan thaw, just enough to turn the driveway and barnbank into ice. Getting the tractor out this afternoon to do the barn chores should be fun. Wonder if I will get it back up the bank to put it away?

It's been near 60F the last 3 days. We've had enough snow to almost cover the tips of the grass once a couple of weeks ago.

It's just slushy and heavy. I'll fire up the K and give it a quick push when I get home this afternoon. My driveways pretty flat but the thaw and melt every day makes a mess

Moose are delicious! Better than deer IMO. Thanks for the pics! I'll show the "boss" when she comes home.

Wow - I'd take some of that!

We were -18F and -12F couple days in the last week, and around 0 few other days this month.

Keep telling myself it won't be long until I'm tapping maple trees!:D

Yup, it's nice. But you wouldn't have much of a sugaring season with out the frost snow and cold. Plus that 65° temps tend to kill your sugaring season in a hurry;) i wish we could produce it here. Tired as hell having to import it. Once you figure in shipping on a gallon, your paying around 70$ And thats buying from a cousin

We had a 10 acre sugar works and usually did around 1500 taps in vermont. Had the big wood burning arch. Used to sit in the sugar house doing school work and boiling :D can't afford to live up there any more
