Am considering it.
If a decent value. The used 1548 you noted would be sweet. Remove the scarfing shanks to drop a few pounds. Adjust the scraping blades to the depth needed to maintain your driveway. Might be good enough. You can always replace the shanks if needing more mass.

I just found out my brother in west central Wisconsin is wanting to sell his newer 5 foot Land Pride land plane. He used it a few times behind his older BX to smooth some trails in his hunting property and it's been in storage since. I can get some pics. The last time I saw it, it was still looking like new with the 4 scarifier blades. Weight is roughly 350 lbs. Located in the Cumberland - Rice Lake, Wisconsin area.

@Bearcatrp I can put you in contact with him if interested. He does venture into the Bemidji area every now and then and could possibly bring it along if he still has it.
