Greetings all -

While sitting in a ditch at the bottom of our driveway this evening, it struck me that I might put some chains on my L3710. Great times!

Could you please recommend a brand/type of chain for my L3710 w/14.9-24's?

I searched the forum, but most conversations seem to focus on front tire chain usage - not rear and not brand/type recommendations.

As always, greatly appreciate your help.

Merry Christmas!

Scott

What is your driveway construction? And those are AG (R1) tires correct? IF so, you will want a chain that will not fall between the lugs.

The chains you use will really be determined by what possible damage it will do to the surface of your driveway.:)

I found chains good using R4 tires however with R1's I found studding the front tires worked great. The problem I had at least with the kind of chains I have is in the wet snow it would form like soft balls between the chains making it almost impossible to drive with them on. Here's a picture of the chains. The studs I used are Kold Kutter atv ice screws, 5/8" bought off ebay. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

I wish I could post a picture of my set-up, but I have a new computer and haven't put the pictures in it yet, but that said, I have a L3560HSTC with chains I purchased from TireChainsRequired.com. A friend of mine purchased some for his truck after I got mine for the tractor. They have good prices and a great selection. Doesn't cost anything to look, check it out.

So the driveway is rock/gravel. No concern for damage. I apologize, but I don't know much about tractors or the tires on them. But I am including a few photos which will hopefully help.

Thanks again.
