I read earlier this week that running the L3560 once every other week or so is good for the tractor! Got out, unloaded the mousetraps (there were 8 dead mice in various trap types and I also keep bar bait out!). Took the Bounce sheets out, charger off, and let her run about 20 minutes. Seems happy! Ran the FEL and drove around. I think I need something more to do!

Mice are so awful around here (Southern New England). They are the reason I'm leaning towards the tractor getting the garage and the new truck sitting outside.

I have been building mouse traps for years, and the simplest one is a bucket and empty pop can,, bait it and forget about it, works first time every time

Thanks Skeets! I'll get on that today!!!

Edit: DONE!

Took me about five minutes to make that! I also added some antifreeze since we are going to be in the teens for the next several days. I'll keep you informed!

I built one of those and never caught a mouse. It was in my barn and I determined possums, skunks or coons were licking all the peanut butter off way before the mice had a chance.

Every time my dog gets a chance she cleans off the peanut butter for me so I can add fresh.

Hadn't thought of that. Hope a skunk doesn't sip antifreeze water and die in there..
And it smells like Bounce in the barn now! Ants ate the bait off my regular victor traps! I'll post pics of whatever shows up!!!

Every fall I put mouse traps in the Kubota cave. Usually catch about ten till it snows. This year I set my traps and didn't even see a single mouse. Then I spotted a road flare in a box that was chewed up and half eaten. I didn't know mice liked road flares. This might be cheaper and easier than traps.

You might want to look around and see if you got a porkey someplace, I remember my Great Uncle that lived up around Cooks Forest, said they would chew through the wall of the power magazines and chew up the dynamite sticks for the salt.

I don't shoot the coyotes where I live. They help keep the rabbit and rodent populations down. I consider them friends. Besides that, they help keep the deer moving off the property.
