But they are just cute little dogs. Seriously though, on my property the deer do so much damage to trees that I actually welcome the coyotes to help drive the deer away.

I understand that coyotes are predators and that they are a nuisance to a lot of farmers and ranchers. I don't fault anyone for trying to get rid of them where they live.

Down here we have WAY to many of them critters, my bud the sheep farmer,,NO NOT THAT SHEEPFARMER ,,, has lost well on to 30 lambs so far since they started lambing,,, you know for Easter lambs. And several ewes that were in the process of lambing. And a couple other farmers I know have lost lambs and ducks chickens and cats,, yotes love cats. They have pretty much cleaned out the coons and opossums too and not a wabbit to be found. The state has what they call a PROFESSIONAL hunter trapper that is suppose to work on these critters, and from what I have seen of his sets my 10 years old grand son could make a better one

I'm with skeets, I'd shoot them all if I could. Not sure about putting a trap out for the mice, when I was out working around the tractor today in the portable garage a pure white weasel was in there with me (4 legged kind) wouldn't want to do it any harm.

Just trying to keep as many mice from making a home in my wiring harness as possible. I know I'll never get em all - the yote was actually from my other farm about 65 miles away. I was reluctant to post that pic Bc I really don't want to offend anyone. But it's part of management for us!

I can relate...I have more of a problem with as skeets would put it "tree rats".I did a pretty good job of thinning them out last year but it's time to go on the hunt again which the crows and eagles appreciate, lead free shot of course. As for the yotes I have a school teacher friend who comes every winter with his hounds to thin them out.
