A friend called yesterday to help him pull a tree off his tractor- had his loader too high carrying a tree and not watching it backing up. It slid down the loader arms and fortunately he had the wheel tipped up and it stopped it before it hit him. He's lucky all he needs is some cowling-instrument cluster- few switches and maybe a new tilt rack and wheel. This is the third time I have seen this in 50 some years of owning/operating tractors- the first 2 were not so lucky. Lots of reasons to carry your load low-

This old TV show will make you stop and think about what you are doing on your tractor.

well - I guess it could have been far worse ..........

Tractor could have been ORANGE!

Big man has a sense of humor.

Looking at that more closely ........... that tractor is totaled, FEL subframe is bent to hell

Glad he's OK. That is one reason I like a grapple, but mistakes can be made no matter what. I try to not to raise the loader any higher than necessary. However, we've all done things that we look back on and realize it was foolish to have it done it that way. Reminders like these are a good thing for us all.
