If he had been into some better groceries he might have a little bit more but he’s about what to expect here....if people let em grow up some that is.

I just saw this thread that was started a few years ago, and after reading to the bottom of page 1, I decided to skip to the last few page. It appears that what North Idaho Wolfman had requested in his first post is now being ignored. I am not a hunter, nor am I anti-gun or anti-hunting. I will admit that some of the pictures that I have seen on these forums are more than a little over the top. Let us get back to conforming to the rules of the forums as spelled out on page 1.
Thanks for your consideration,
Dusty

I scanned back through all eight pages. There were posts and some pictures in this thread that are no longer here. I know this because I've posted here several times over the years.

In scanning back through the pages I saw two pictures that may or may not have broken Wolfman's request. An elk with a little blood on the snow and a deer hanging by its head from a Kubota bucket. The rest of the pictures in this thread I believe conform to Wolfman's request.

I guess a disclaimer could be posted above page one of this thread "CAUTION ! ! Possible Graphic Photos". That way people that don't want to see someone else's accomplishment that they're proud of might not go any further in to the thread. I guess what I'm trying to say is....If you do not want to see it don't go looking for it. The title of the thread plainly states "Hunting and Game Posts" in an "Off Topic" area of the forum. Do you think people that hunt and fish aren't going to post what they accomplish in a Hunting and Game thread?

It's really not much different than someone posting a picture of their $85k-$90K Kubota cab tractor with a $25K batwing cutter behind it sitting in front of their $75-$100K shop with their $1.5-$2 million dollar home in the background flaunting their debt or money that they are proud of and I'd be proud of it too if I had it but I don't and there are people that those types of pictures offend.

These forums are and should be a two way street.

Again, If you don't want to see it don't go looking for it knowing its probably there.

Off my box now.

Don't you hate it when someone catches you with a stupid look on your face? :ROFLMAO:
Believe it or not that wasn't photo shopped, just happened to catch it on one of the cameras in the back yard....never seen so many deer in my life but come bow season there could be a couple less. I keep promising myself I won't make pets out of them, sure hope I do better than our last place.

I've had elk around the house for the past week. Always enjoyable to see them.

My neighbor has young kids that haven't seen elk this close so I sent him a text at 7:00am this morning and told him to look up towards my place. He took this photo which shows a decent number of elk. He counted 43 a few days ago and we think it's the same group. They head up past my place to spend the day and seem to come back down to a pond below me at night. Or maybe they know where some good alp-alpha bales are located.

Wow beautiful country, almost looks like post cards.

Not a hunting picture. Someone else got it with their vehicle.

Saw this one hit on roadside few days ago. My son’s buddy did too and got a couple pictures.

Good rack for this area. Right side was broken off. Deer looked to have real good body size too. Older buck. Maybe 3-4+ year old.

That’s an interesting exit hole from a vehicle collision. But i think northern zone in NY is usually 25th oct or so towards end of the month (at least I thought northern zone opens first) 🤔
You have no clue whether that's an "exit hole." No need to stir shit if you ain't even got a spoon.

No exit holes, no blood, no tongues hanging out........This raggedy horned, 1 1/2 half year old piebald buck from last year has grown into a nice 2 1/2 year old, 9 point.

I have a piebald buck too. Mine has a double throat patch. I hope he hangs around another year or two.

A few posts back I showed an elk that I shot on my property. It took close to two years but I finally got the mount back and I'm really pleased with the quality of the work.
