Gasket maker ok for oil filter assembly?

I’m installing a spin on oil filter assembly and removing the cartridge style on my l1500dt. The parts diagram shows a gasket between the engine and the filter assembly and I was planing on using permatex black high oil gasket maker or whatever. But is this ok? Is it likely some will squeeze inside break off and muck something up or should I just get some gasket material and cut my own which is much more of a pain.

Looks similar but wsm shows "15213-32330" or "15101-32330" depending on serial which returned nothing on Messicks.

Permatex is great stuff.....

But I would get a complete gasket rather than take a chance of not enough or too much permatex in the mix!

Baaaa!!!! I mistyped the part number and that is my gasket Matt. I saw the replaces line in the part and it was one number off. I rechecked the wsm and it’s right. Thanks sir.

Not relevant in this situation, but when kubota builds units the size of the gasket can play a role in the clearances of parts.
Example of this is my L3450 GST, when all of the gaskets are stacked up for the Clutch housing, Mid housing, Transmission it adds up to over 1/2", thus when they are not put in the shafts are 1/2" too long and bind.
