My l245 recently started blowing exhaust thru the elbow weep hole. Is that normal? or a sign that my muffler is clogging up? Had this tractor 8 years and never saw this before. If muffler, anyway to unclog it or just replace it?

Thanks for any and all advice.

Could a mouse have built a nest in there somehow?

Is it billowing out or just coming out a little?

Any coming out of the normal tube?

Sometimes it's just a lot more noticeable in winter than summer.

Unless the exhaust is clogged, or the hole is rusting and opening up more, you just probably never noticed it before. The hole is there so that water won't pool in the exhaust pipe.

Thanks all for your replys,
It noticeably exhausts thru the weep hole on startup and yes it does exhaust thru the normal stack. Maybe it is just a winter thing. My plow truck broke down in Nov. and I've been using my tractor more this winter for snow removal. Many cold day starts when it is obvious on startup. Sounds like I may be concerned about nothing abnormal. No shortage of mice here but they usually find a home in my RV generator box.

thanks again!

Feed 'em d-Con or similar in the generator box.
They will love it!
