I try not to kid myself. The lawn I ran through never had it done and doesn't get taken care of other then mowing. That might of had something to do with it.
Maybe the added steel to make the 3pt hitch helped weigh it down and does a better job then it did on the Zero turn.

It looks to me like it will be a direct hook up for your Kubota without any alterations.
I would go for it as long as the gearbox and spindles are good.

Side discharge would be a deal breaker for me. They don't do well in thick grass, it doesn't have to be very tall but thick and it will clump up like a mofo. Just hold off a bit and you can find a nice rear discharge with front caster wheels for the same price.

I agree with Eric, ready to run rear discharge mower are advertised all the time in the $500 - $1000 range. Without the front caster wheels that other mower would be a mess.

Thanks guys. Ill wait for one as long as I can. Up here in the Northeast these things are hard to come by but this might make for a nice weekend getaway if I have to drive to a neighboring state or two.

Nice job on the de-thatcher!
I'd also keep my eye on Craigslist and ebay. My old pickup gets about 10mpg - If I have to drive a hundred mile round trip, the gas cost make a deal-breaker.

Mine is a 25+ year old Chevy 1-ton 4x4. I've only put 65000 miles on it in that time, so I never put more gas in it than a truck payment would be, during my month home. But I always figure in gas when I contemplate a purchase from Craigslist or Ebay. I am looking for a post hole digger, and found one at the price I like, but it is 160 miles away! That adds 32 gallons of gas to the tab. Boo.
