Does anyone have a solid list of parts including fluids and quantities needed to do a complete 50 hour service? I want to do a full fluid/filter change. I started compiling a list but if someone has already has one please share. Thank You

Same here, 45 hours and wouldn't hurt to hear from the professionals with over 50 hours. 😊

Well - 1st I would buy some 5w-40 Rotella T6 oil for the engine - 3.5 qts
I would get a Kubota oil filter - HH150-32430

2nd - I would get 11 quarts there or about of S-UDT2 Kubota hydraulic oil - and a Kubota Hydraulic filter - HHK20-36990.

3rd - I would either place the above in the front axle if up north - or if in a southern climate, get 85w-90 synthetic gear oil for the front end.

4th I would pull the suction screen and clean it well after all oil is removed.

5th Clean the engine air filter. Part Number: K1211-82320.

6th I would, while you are up under - replace BOTH fuel filters- 12581-43012 - and I would rearrange the fuel plumbing while there!!! I would install a 8mm/5/16 1/4 turn ball valve so the next time you change the filters ..... you will not take a bath it the fuel!

7th clean radiator screen and or clean radiator too

I had the dealer do the 50hr ( part of the deal I made). figure if THEY screwit up THEY give me a new BX23S., rest I've done..got 615hrs in 3yrs..so far so good. Did buy a K fuelfilter/shutoff and once I get 10' of 5/16 fuel line will mount it and be DONE with the underbelly 'fun' of filter changes....

Look in your manual! What is required and what is suggested is two different things. At 50 hours I wouldnt get carried away.

Unless I'm seeing it wrong my manual shows just a filter change at 50 hours on hydraulics. Is this right? Dealer said at one time he would wait till a 100 hours.

The chart is obviously correct .......... but I will tell you this, changing the oils out a bit early and or cleaning the screen of debris will only increase the lifespan of the tractor.

For example - the air filter, after 50 hours it might be clean as a whistle - then again it might be dirty and need a change - same with fuel filters.

It never hurt to get off on the correct foot !

I have seen oil and hydraulic filters that have never been changed after 500 hours - they were painted over from the factory .......

so to each their own! They call it PM for a reason!

Maybe I should of been more clear on the original post. I don't want to debate what manual is correct or what dealer is correct. I am just going to do it overkill and be done. It really isn't a ton of money.

Assuming full service (all HST/Engine Oil/front Axle Oil/All filters. What are the OEM part #'s and fluid quantities needed? I just want everything in my garage so I can spend a couple of hours going through it without needing to go back to the dealer.

Thanks

Hydraulic Fluid at 50 hours seems a bit extreme to me too, but I'm only an accountant and play shadetree mechanic on weekends. .....My little Cub mower with the Hydrostatic Trans has never been changed at 400+ hours.....Maybe I should find a way to change it and breathe new life into it!...better yet, probably should not disturb the Magic Dust.

I see no reason to be changing fuel filters at 50 hours or even 100 hours. If you are using clean fuel, then the fuel filters should go easily 4 or 5 hundred hours. Think of your car, whether gas or diesel, how often do you replace the fuel filters? On the hydraulic oil, or the engine oil, that is important, since contaminates can do damage, but fuel filters hold the contaminates well, and the only other fuel problems one can encounter is the moisture that won't pass through the filter. I can see upgrading the type of fuel filter your tractor uses, but changing it for the sake of change makes no sense to me. Do you think that farmers change the fuel filters every 100 hours? Look at the chart above, it recommends checking the fuel filter, not replacing it.
I would be more inclined to follow the maintenance schedule that Kubota recommends, and do the maintenance as required by the schedule.

BTT.
Bought all my stuff from the dealer.
Engine oil and filter changed, went with Kubota 10W-30, that's what he threw at me.
I plan on changing the HST filter only, not draining the HST oil or checking the screen.
Dealer again, only threw one quart of Super UDT 2 at me saying, you won't lose that much if your quick with your hands.
We'll see how this goes....

Crack the old filter - which can be fun ........... then have the new ALREADY lubed around the gasket....

have the new one close by - spin off old as quick as possible, there will be no gush of oil, but it will come out a bit, then spin the new one on. I bet you loose less than a solo cup!!!!

I was wondering how fast it would gush out (being a new F150 owner (they'll get the joke))
Thank you!!
